It's totally done being patched. The New Guy did find a pretty significant spelling error but its not worth a patch. I hope you have fun with it!

the skeleton in "Whiplashes" moves too fast. My guess is that his speed is in decimals. this causes a lot of cheap hits and game overs which I find unfair.
edit: shadow town boss is really bad designed and not fun at all. the rinkas also make it 100 times harder.
scratch that, you can get behind the boss and then it's easier.

Haha ah amusing. The skeleton was an accident at first... then I thought I'm leaving this in, its funny and the stage is fittingly called Whiplashes so it was like the final touch it needed. Besides it might get you once or twice but then you remember that its there, its always in the same spot and there is just one of them as well.
Also kudos on finding the secret to that battle. Its possible to beat him head on but its very difficult.

just so you know, you forgot to remove the beams after the evil wizard is killed at the end of world 8. Am I supposed to have 29 stars after world 8?

a funny thing, the 1 up mushroom and the jumping toads are sooo well timed that the mushroom carries them away. made the ending a LOT better hahahaha
Spoiler: show
why Luigi though? Link one was hilarious lmao
edit: the temple of mummbles is impossible. I killed all section 1 enemies and the wall won't disappear.
scratch that, the first ludwig despawned for some reason.
these enemies regain their ludwig sprite after going into "shell mode"
Spoiler: show
hey uhh, I just beat world 9 with 36 stars, is there 38 stars total? because I had 35 in the toad house which required 37 to progress further, and after killing the wart I got the 36th star.

I gotta say The New Guy, you really have an eye for whats fauntly. One test run I found the wall didn't disappear in the temple of mumbles.. it really sucks cause the 3 of those enemies arn't easy. But you explained why, its not too common.
Also Its beyond me how to make those beams stop. I suppose a recommendation on that might warrent a patch, but its still minor in my opinion.
Spoiler: show
Yes completing world 9 should end you with 36 stars and the last one is after beating that oddly placed Wart gives you 37 if you collected them all before. ah maybe that is a serious mistake. I'll look into it.

That can be easily fixed by hiding the layer after the boss is defeated. Also
Spoiler: show
I probably missed a level because I found out that ??? had an exit (which I walked to the right side of the screen instead of the pipe) so there has to be one more I didn't beat.

I set them to endless loop, when I tried to set the event to endless finish it crashed and burned..in other words tried to hide the layers it didnt listen.
The 1-up thing is good eh.

Still, it hurts my heart to see 36/37
I checked everywhere (even editor) and can't seem to find where I missed something.

I just found out I skipped a star in "you are godlike" so I guess this is it. 37/37, but my game maxes out at 108% for some reason.

Thanks Megadood! I hope you enjoy.
The New Guy nice work you got them all! You must be just missing a small little path somewhere. I ended up with 109% was hoping after all the map fixes it would end at 110...but eh pretty close.

A creator's speedrun challange has been added to the main download page. Recordings of the run added for reference and early game speed boosting techniques.
Obviously there are few copyright claims on some custom music used in this episode, I doubt anyone intends to make money from an SMBX video. Lol
Also a final patch with minor tweaks added June 11th.

Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.

Unfortunately not yet, I've been rather busy in my life at the moment. Maybe he deleted it because some information in it was wrong or outdated?

He just talked about how many people downloaded it (~400) and how many people reviewed it in comparison (like 3).

Thats pretty much what I said, deleted it because I felt like I was bumping my own topic. I figure the lack of feedback is party because the graphics have been fixed and theres not much to point out.

When it's just been two weeks, or when it's an important post regardless of the thread's age, it's not a bump.

Oh, nice I wasn't sure about that. Since the last update theres been 130 downloads, before that was a few hundred.

-Edit-
After seeing a recent playthrough, I've decided to patch a few final details to make this episode perfect.
Its not a major game changing patch you don't need it unless your a fan of the episode. (July 16th)
-37 Star prize exitable.
-Temple of Mumbles fixed.
-Koopa Rummble fixed.
-Custom Npc Hitboxes fixed.
-Skys the Limit slightly lengthened.
-Zhubbard Warp Bonus actually made cool.
-A few minor tweaks, axes replacing most red coins. No map changes.

New poll added concerning copyrighted music. I'm looking to see if its an important factor for users.
