Welcome to a new work from me. Game Compatibility: SMBX 2.0 Maglx build The difficulty level is high and there are no checkpoints, there are 17 levels. If errors occur, contact me. I'm grateful to anyone who plays or videos it
If a black image appears on the world map, delete Mario and Luigis Island.wld and restart the game. I'm packing a new download link into the forum because the issues in the new link have already been fixed. Download Link: Down...

It is not recommended to release episodes that use the MAGLX3 build, as the disclaimer said in the download topic, just FYI

If the levels are hard and there are no checkpoints, the people won't have a great experience with them at all. And as Darkonius said, MaGLX3 build episodes are discouraged

400 megabytes? Jesus christ! The episode I've been working on for 2 years doesn't even take up half as much space! Converting music to ogg doesn't save any space unless you also loop them.

And yeah, what Darkonius said. Expect this to become unplayable on future versions unless updated.

E: Yeah you're even using NPCs that were explicitly left out of the tileset itemboxes for being unfinished. This'll break.

You can't enter various levels on the overworld. There's also bugs all over the place. Was this game tested?

I am sorry that I am releasing the episode with the Maglx build that I accidentally created with Maglx a few months ago. Once Beta 4 is released, Beta 4 can be used. Until then, I fix the mistakes, I promise. This episode is difficult, but can only be played out by good players :)

Just try to play the game as normal, you will notice them. Various levels on the overworld cannot be entered, you're using unfinished piranha plant enemies, and the final boss doesn't trigger game end. Just to name the few most glaring ones I found.

You're also softlocked in the final level if you don't have 15 stars. I, for one, didn't know the game even had stars until that door. None of the star coins had their IDs properly registered either, so I just assumed they were haphazardly placed.

No-checkpoints doesn't makes game difficult, it makes it frustrating. Is theres any reason why you didn't placed checkpoints in levels?

Not how things work.
The star lock is for the SMB3 and SMW star NPCs.
Star coins add to a seperate counter which you need to use lua for to access at the moment.
The game is untested and unbeatable.

The episode looks alright, but I agree with Scroll about people being discouraged to play if there are no checkpoints. Also there is some clash with the first image, with the enemies and pipes mixed with the backgrounds.
