Mario Goes to the Store to Buy Milk - The Episode

alright, let me just be completely honest here; this episode isn't that good. there's hardly any decoration in the stages themselves after level 3 and it doesn't have many levels anyway. (this episode was mostly a joke)
but, i'm saying this now, so here's the features:
15(?) stages
an infinite 1-ups room (has an offscreen exit, that's how you leave)
per-level credits that show up on the world map (except some don't fully show up and some don't show up at all)
levels that restart immediately when you die
tons of unused levels and music in the episode
3, yes, 3, custom textures from me, and one use of the smb1 desert tileset by enjl because yes (and i also ported a few textures from smbx2 pal)
finally fixed the transparency issue for the boss
obligatory screenshots: show
just a warning: if you die, all moving blocks that start moving immediately break for no reason, and this will lead to softlocks. if needed, use shadowstar or jumpman depending on what you need followed with redigitiscool to bypass these errors.
download link is
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing and the method of downloading is the same as for the odd star house
if i messed up anything in the episode that makes it unplayable or if i accidentally broke the rules when creating this episode feel free to scream at me

Something tells me that this "Joke" SMBX might need a little more work to improve it. Just saying since there's parts of the episode that'll cause softlocks.

if i really had to, i know a way to fix the softlocks except i would have to sacrifice the auto-restart.

I experienced this from A2XT. Is the auto-restart really that important?

no it's not, i just thought it would be nice to have and then i realized how bad auto restart is but it was too late

yes

And how many worlds does it contain?
it doesn't really have worlds, it's fairly short and could maybe fit into at most 2 worlds
