When this episode came out, I 100%ed it in one sitting, but the first two levels had no graphics, and the music was messed up in a few levels. On my second playthorugh, it was fixed. I did use lua then, but I do not kbow the issue here. Sorry I can not help more.

The only gripe I have so far is the spinning platform at the goal in 1-3. Took me quite a while to time it to where Luigi doesn't skid off the platform after jumping on it at the bottom of its rotation... It would've been much better as one of those vertical bouncing ones...

Their physics are very weird to work with. Wish in the future of SMBX they have some preprogrammed platforms like those so they won't be janky to work with, physics and speed wise.

This is one of the best episodes I have ever played (I'm saying it now even that I played it something like 1 or 2 years ago)
I also even called my episode Luigi's Fight For Love, That's a litle remainds the name of your episode, and I'm also updating and improving my episode that it will be better

Has anybody found a hidden ending? When I fished the episode,

Luigi was dead and Toad a prisoner. Sure, LFMK is one of the darker episodes (war of extermination!?), but I still doubt this the best ending you can get.

I kind of liked the ending, it was a thing and it was kind of dramatic.
When you feel some feelings at something (The surprise when Luigi fell into the lava and the sadness of Luigi's death) it makes things better, even if it was a sad ending.

There's some complication with level "3-3 Summit Trouble". That Stone Waluigi doesn't even get affected by the falling bolts. It's impossible to slay.

I've been thinking about fixing this game's length and difficulty for a good while now and I think I might go through with it. The main question is if anyone would be interested in this.

There will be some differences in all the levels but I don't believe there'll be much otherwise which means that this game will essentially be the same, so it shouldn't really feel like you're playing a brand new episode unless I decide to remake some ideas or something.

I've also been out of the SMBX scene for a good while and I know that there's better versions of SMBX out there but I'm still gonna keep this SMBX 1.3 exclusive unless the new editor(s) are that easy to use, but even so, I'm not sure what to do otherwise.

But yeah, anyone down for this? If there's a decent amount of interest I'll do it, but if not then I won't bother.

I love this EP and it would be amazing to see an update. I would definitely play again. But I think it would be better to make the updates in the SMBX2 version.

Hey! Cool to see you around again. Hope you've been doing well.

For a quick rundown of handy features for editing, the smbx2 editor can save in 1.3 format (.lvl), but gives you the comfort of:
- Multi-Select
- Undo/Redo
- Editing an object's properties after placing them
- Temporarily locking the state of a certain group of objects (like blocks) so only others can be moved around.
among other things.
It's probably a bit weird to get used to, but I recommend giving it a shot because I think those features in particular would be very useful when it comes to editing already completed levels.

Keeping it 1.3 compatible sounds like a good move, considering that it ensures all flavours of SMBX will be able to run it without issue.

Though I feel obligated to at least mention the filesize-specific optimizations of using looping ogg music instead of mp3s, and using pngs with alpha transparency instead of gifs with mask. I'd definitely go the 1.3 compatible route for the update, but if you feel like music without big filesize or bad loops is something desirable to the experience, this might be worth considering for an alternate download.
