The worst I've had is a virus that actually re-wrote my old computer's motherboard, thereby annihilating my poor computer. On my new computer the worst I had was TermCoach, which wasn't overly difficult to remove, but sure was annoying.

What do you mean on your old computer? - How would it get stuff from your old computer are re-write it on your new one?
Unless you didn't mean your personal old computer.

I'm referring to two different computers. I didn't have both at the same time; these were two isolated incidents.

Now, more specific, the worst viruses I had in my notebook was Lollipop and Softonic Downloader. Both of them open pop-up unwanted ads, and I simply couldn't delete the first one. Luckily, I found Malwarebytes Antimalware.

Some kind of virus that wasn't dangerous to the computer itself (as I noticed), it was only for generating annoyance.
The things it did:
- There were random ads popping up with every browser (IE, Mozilla, Google Chrome, Opera, etc)
- It destroyed AdBlock
- It made some sites disfuctioning for me
- It made browsing slower too

The worst (and as far as I know only) computer virus I've ever had was one that made it so every time flash player was needed, two windows with identical pages that were for some reason on different domains would tell me I needed to install a new flash player (which actually was a lot of viruses). Fortunately I wasn't stupid enough to fall for that, and oddly enough the only thing I had to do was make a new account on my computer and delete the old one.
Jesus is my savior.

Was it...
This is probably the only one that got past my common sense security (great program, btw).

Well if you're using IE of course you're going to have malware problems, its an insecure browser. If I use IE, I go to sites that I know are secure, because if I get an infection on IE, its a pain to remove. I just stick to using Chrome.
I've had infections where my computer was rendered useless because the malware was taking up all of the memory. However, probably the most annoying virus I've ever had was WeatherBug. Yeah, adware was what I've had several issues with it in the past. Thankfully not anymore.

I feel you. WeatherBug has given me problems a while back. A friend tried to download a drum simulator in my PC and only got adware in it.

I had a shitload of viruses just some months ago.
I was struck by 2 browser hostagers, a metric fuckload of trojans and some worms.
It basically murdered most of the old harddisk (although 90% of the data got saved) So i now have a New one that
Works perfectly fine now.
I'm tired of this back-slapping "Isn't humanity neat?" bullshit. We're a virus with shoes, okay? That's all we are.

Still didn't have one
The worst one u could get on ur phone is FUCKING GHOST PUSH
What it does:
Roots phone, automatically opens browser, installs unwanted apps.
It could be removed with "Stubborn Trojan Killer" for android (not sure for iOS)
It's horrible, trust me

I've gotten a ton of trojans before, and they all sucked. They were annoying ad crap things. I eventually was able to remove them.
