I know right? And now you have everyone fainting over Zelda Breath of Fire because of "explore anywhere you see" and "nonlinear story" and "no annoying NPCs". News flash Nintendo revisionist fakers,
1. Who wants to do that anyways, I mean if you saw a cornfield on the side of the road you wouldn't "explore" it! In the Mariopieces, you only go to where there's interesting, fun play. In fact, SMB1 streamlines this for a fluid experience that will have you in tears.
2. MARIO 1 AND 3 LET YOU GET TO THE FINAL BOSS IN 15 MINUTES THIS IS NOTHING NEW
3. You know who's a true hero? Mario. He's mature, he doesn't look like a girl, but most importantly, he has realistic relationships with friendly NPCs. He's willing to save them, but he won't do their chores for a piece of heart; the Toads make it worth his while by giving him presents or playing fun games.
Whew. That felt great. Yeah, I'm sorry to nag on Zelda so much, but it's really sad. The new Nintendo thinks that 1.5 years with no news was a worthwhile wait for this just makes me almost miss Mario World. At least we have #btb bros. to pick up where Nintendo left off.
