So, recently, if u haven't heard i've gotten my laptop broken by a pin where the charger goes pushed in to where it can't charge
It was because i was trying to get my charger plugged in and forced it in....
Anyway i went to walmart to look for laptops......they wouldn't be able to run even minecraft.."dummy laptops"
So i want to know if you own or use a laptop....
WHat laptop would be able to have SMBX and Minecraft? like my old laptop
Mine was a Emachines laptop with 2GB ram, intel celeron900 processor...
I'm desperate to get SMBX back

I have a LG Labtop that I got like 5-6 Years ago which is a Windows XP Computer and still use it now. Of course it wasn't all that strong since SMBX was running ok but if there are a lot of objects on the screen it lags and even a few on these Touhou Games but it is ok anyway.
1.60 GHz and 0,99 RAM
No idea if I can call more info from my PC since I am more used to Windows 7 now.

Were those laptops or notebooks? Cause I'm sure modern-day laptops will be able to run both Minecraft and SMBX. Notebooks, not too sure.
I own a Toshiba Satellite C855. It has 6GB RAM, Intel Core i3 processor (works better than expected), Dual Core Multithreaded Processor and Intel HD 3000 Graphics Card (Again, works better than expected), running Windows 8.1. It only cost around $600 to get this one.

Hey, I have exactly that, only it has Windows 7!
But yeah, like XerX said, are you sure it's a notebook and not a laptop? And if you're looking for quality support, go to Best Buy or Staples or something that isn't Walmart to look for a laptop, lol.
Or just go to newegg.com and get one, that's easier.

I think I have a Notebook which doesn't have a thing that runs CDs with it. Yeah, that is one weak PC aswell but it does his job anyway even if it lags sometimes via (strong) Gaming Programs. I only have 1 Labtop/Notebook anyway.

I recommend an HP envy. They have a good processing power (I don't have one, but would like one) and are probably the best for gaming. Only downside (to some): it's Windows 8, but in all honesty, the OS shouldn't make that much of a difference to you. The price is $899.

Toshiba Satellite A210 converted to Windows 8.1.
My school will be giving us Chromebooks, so I'll have a Chromebook soon.

TF2 takes little to nothing to run nowadays. I'm sure even a notebook could run TF2.

AlienWare is overrated anyway.

The Electronics guy told me they would not be sufficient to run Minecraft and/or SMBX

First off Alienware is the most overpriced crap there is
Second do you really need a laptop or is a desktop fine? The desktop will last you much longer and you will get WAY more for your money.

I don't mean to start an argument about this, but a laptop is portable. People usually like having the ability to take the computer with them to places.

That's why I asked instead of straight-out saying "desktop"
