What game reduces your stress? (Not counting SMBX)

Postby MarioRPGExpert93 » Sat Jan 09, 2016 11:20 am

Hey guys, NintendoOtaku93 here, with another gamer question for you guys. What game(s) do you play when you're too stressed-out?

My stress removal game I always play when I'm stress is a 3DS port of one of the best "Beat-em ups" ever made in the 1990's, "Streets of Rage"! *3-D Streets of Rage tbh* Oh, and since the topic title also says "Not counting SMBX", because I want you guys to think outside the box! 8-)

Mario RPGs I owned: 08/12

Main Goals in Mario RPGs (04/11 goals accomplished): show
  • Complete Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
  • Master all Bros. Attacks in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
  • Collect all 256 cards in Super Paper Mario

  • Complete Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
  • Finish Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story in under 24 hours
  • Play through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door in a BP only run
Current amount of $$$ until I get a new Windows 10 Laptop: $652.00

I normally play Super Malleo Galaxy or a random Kirby game to relax. Especially the Beach level are pretty relaxing. :3

Smash Bros, and the occasional platforming game. (Mario, Kirby etc...) Dicking around in GTA 5 is always up-lifting too. :P
"Ima Luigi, number one!"

Dunno what to put here yet, will update later. :P

Jack Bros.
I've decided to cancel SMBXville Under Seige. After my 1st Senior year of college, I realized I wouldn't have enough time to devote to finishing my four-level episode. Apologies to those who cared.

Finally I found someone else who can that game. Most people just complain about the red and black colour display.

Honestly, one of the best games I've found to play to relax or otherwise, would be Mahjongg: Ancient Mayas on DS. It's a nice simple game with some pretty soothing tracks.

Drawn To Life (and its sequel) are both pretty nice to play - there's some nice platforming and then breaks where you draw stuff for use in-game and it relaxes me quite a bit.

-Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
-Love Live: School Idol Festival
-Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX
-(maybe) Yandere Simulator
-Minecraft
-Terraria

Strangely enough, SMBX is often stressful and Touhou is relaxing.
