Speaking of eggs, literally every Pokemon that can breed lays eggs, even mammalian ones and such. Though I guess this is so that it can make it seem more "innocent" and "safer" for kids, it still doesn't make much sense. You could argue that this is just how they reproduce in this world, but keep in mind that in Gen 1 it was specifically stated that Mew gave live birth to Mewtwo. Inconsistencies like this are weird.

Don't quote me on this but I think that Yoshi was a dragon in the original Super Mario World since the big coins are called "Dragon Coins" and they have Yoshi's likeliness on them.

While we're on the topic of Pokémon eggs, if a Kangaskhan hatches from an egg, it is already a mother.

If he were, he'd be the smallest dinosaur ever.

This can all be true but imo this is also getting out of hand weird. So, next logic:

Does Mario live in the past? Because that dino in the first kingdom of SMO seems like it's prehistoric. Is this "Jurassic Odyssey"? (again more lizards of some sort)

The Odyssey is a time machine probably

Ok ditch "Jurassic Odyssey", how about "Doctor Who Odyssey" ;) (Also no I didn't watch it, I just know for a fact that he can time travel)

No he's a criminal who evades his taxes.

I would actually say probably not, since in Odyssey we see a fully developed urban city. My idea is that the mushroom kingdom is probably just a rustic or medieval styled country. Maybe the cascade kingdom exists as a relic in time.

Maybe it's called another universe.

True, but it's still fun over-analysing a children's video game.

One of my favorite parts of a Mario game theme-wise is in Bowser Jr's Fearsome Fleet in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Near the end, you ride Yoshi the dinosaur across wooden sailing ships that fly with motorized propellers that are arriving in orbit through dimensional portals... and then you fight a giant robot. All because it's cool :D

That reminds me of Kirby. Heaps of random things happen all the time, not because it makes sense, but because it's fun and cool. Take Galacta Knight for example, he didn't really serve any purpose to the main plot, but he was a kickass boss fight with an epic theme song.

In Paper Mario, Iirc, Goompa was using a hammer to fix something*, and I was wondering, "How can a goomba use a freaking hammer, they don't have any arms."
*Lol, I actually forgot what the thing called!

The fact you can carry literally the equivalent of an entire house in weight, and still run around and fight just fine in Minecraft.
