[GMS] Mario & Luigi Revisited

Postby Gatete » Thu Jan 09, 2014 3:48 am

I think you remember that MS-DOS Mario game made in 1994.

Well, this game I have here will include the six original levels plus a level editor to create and share levels.

If you want to give the game a try, here's an engine test of it.

The controls are CONTROL / Z for running / shoot fireballs, SHIFT / X for jumping and Arrows for moving (You can't duck on this game, sorry :3)

Enjoy!

C+C will be appreciated.

Re: [GMS] Mario & Luigi DOS Remix

I was just playing the original Mario DOS game on DOSbox a few minutes ago. It's weird to see a fanmade remake of something so obscure. Anyway, good luck with this project!

It is not really that obscure. The original author claims that Tiger Woods played this game.
Here is the photo, http://www.wieringsoftware.nl/mario/woods.html , i dont know if its really him.

You could've said so, there's no note on the main post saying you actually stopped working on this project. And for the time being we lack the ability to read minds.

That's sad, it looked like a pretty solid Mario Platformer. Well, I guess some dreams are really just that, dreams.

Well you see luigi, when a paisano puts his spaghetti noodle in a mamma mia’s ravioli, a little bambino covered in prosciutto comes out about nine months later -Mario

I believe in Mario as my lord and Savior, if you do, put this image in your signature.

Spoiler: show
I might not be around much longer.

I have one more project to complete and then I'm done with it all.

If I disappear it means I'm gone for good. Don't bother looking for me.
