What's the most comprehensive SMB3-styled and/or colored GFX pack?

Postby IcarusBen » Mon May 23, 2016 4:22 pm

I want to make an episode with mostly SMB3-styled levels, and I'm wondering if there's any recolor packs that deal exclusively in SMB3 graphics. What's the best one, as far as you guys know?

Although it isn't necessarily recolours, it might help. It's probably best just to download the Community GFX Pack

Legend-tony's GFX pack has some nice SMB3 stuff. His pack is in the community GFX pack.

That one might be good, but it's a PGE pack. I cannot stand PGE. Sorry.

Also, I'm downloading the community pack as we speak. I'm looking for other packs.

There's no such thing as a "PGE Pack". It may include custom tileset ini's, but that by no means makes it PGE only or a "PGE Pack"

I quote;
Sednaiur wrote:You should use PGE, while making use of this pack, because PGE auto-resizes any block-GFX and rewrites the data into the level-file automatically.
Many of the graphics in this pack make use of that method, so you will have screwed-up graphics, when using them with the editor of SMBX.
It's designed for PGE and he outright states it'll not work right with the legacy editor.

Not for all of the graphics though. A large number of them do work fine

And what is the reason why you can't stand it? It's better then using smbx and switch a billion times to finish something.
