Is the PGE calibration tool still standard use?

Postby ShaolinTrunks » Tue Apr 25, 2017 5:15 pm

Hey smbx community,

First of all I have to praise all the community members who have provided alternate character sprite sheet over the years to inspire my game. Specifically fanofsmbx for putting teen trunks playable character into his gfx pack! As you have guessed I am creating a game around him. Yay! Although I have a question about the PGE calibration tool from wholstand. Is it standard to use it or is there another way to make the 2 missing sprite sheets line up for link which is the character sheet teen trunks takes over. And if PGE calibration tool is still being used, then does it allow me to line up the sprites? Thanks.
Thanks to the SMBX Community.

I don't know. I don't use it myself. I don't know what proportion of the community does.

The calibrator hasn't magically lost any of its accuracy over time. It's still as useful as ever for calibrating hitbox offsets.
