Under the new ruleset I have reclaimed the princess cliche any% record by 5 seconds. Previous was 7:53 by MECHDRAGON. This run is not as optimal as I want it now as I want a sub 7 30 time

Changes after talking with MECHDRAGON
1. Glitches
- The double hover glitch is no longer banned as there's theoretically a consistent method to perform it
- The double jump glitch is banned unless in one condition: you link it off of a double hover from peach. Essentially, double jumping with mario, link, luigi, and toad is banned since it's a really rare minuscule RNG
2. The Custom Levels leaderboard will only include levels that fall into one of the following 3 categories
- Levels with more than one run, (Same or different people)
- Levels that are kaizo if deathless runs are required
The reasoning for this is that the board should keep track of runs that have competition

Other than not being a speedrun, that is not the correct level name.

Edit: It feels like you did not read the disclaimer in the level download link. Custom NPCs in the 751 - 1000 range do not work if a Semicolon is in the level title. I replaced the semicolon with a space to prevent the bug, but the level's real name has the semicolon.

Hey, while playing Pyro's level I found a new glitch

In here, the shell converts to a p-switch. Essentially, we have our own version of the SMW orb/cloud glitch in SMBX found and this has something to do with array reshuffling
This glitch theoretically works for any npc of this type

This is not a new glitch based on what I am reading. Bossedit8 has eaten the goal of the level countless times by having a Yoshi eat an NPC a red koopa shell kills on the same frame.

It's new in the sense, that we now know it can be applied to any npc, instead of a few select ones.

It's new in the sense, that we now know it can be applied to any npc, instead of a few select ones.
I say the new part about it is that it can be applied to killing any NPC and not just keys and yoshi fire.

this is surely improvable as the YT comments already suggest (use Toad, start flying earlier, use his double jump ability ...)

and he cut it down to 49.7

Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.
