Well, none of the character switches work(except the originals from smbx).

This suggests that there's some kind of error, or you've just loaded the original SMBX rather than using the 2.0 launcher. You should just be running SMBX2.exe, and if you encounter an error message, please post it here.

Well, the error (at least I think) is that my computer can't use OpenGL Renderer because EXT_framebuffer_object was not found.

Thought so. That means either your graphics card is about 8 years old, or you haven't properly installed the graphics card drivers.

Question about the costumes: is it possible to enable them for characters without the costume block for a whole episode?

There's a lua function in the player manager called setCostume, which lets you set the costumes with lua.

[TEASER] We may still be waiting on some new tech, but that doesn't mean we can't add stuff into the slots which we still have free.

I'd be nice if the bouncy blocks had some kind of animation for when you bounced off of them. I'd also be cool if the switch for toggling red ! blocks was seperate from the p-switch, like it was in Yoshi's island!

1. Once the tech's there. This is on the to-do list for now.
2. Maybe once we got more NPC slots. It'll be a bit harder to set up than this right now, though.

On Topic: those new blocks are awesome. It would be cool to see those blocks that spits an item upward when pushed from the side (like in SMB3).

As Spinda said, this is not true and I don't know how that occurred to you. Also I don't think they would put the download on a site that requires registering, considering it would technically contradict the rule in the levels/episode forum about downloads.
