Something tells me, that half of the people will miss this post and keep bugging You and judges for the results.

Sad but true, and those don't even know how painful it can be, to play some really shitty or hard levels and make a review that fits to it.

Then again what do you expect from people patiently waiting for reviews to fall from the sky like mere magic? No offense to all of you guys but Judges ain't reviewing machines, they've got lives and have the right to do whatever the fuck they want to do with it. Besides, it's been two weeks already, one or two more weeks should be nothing for you at this point.

I'm sure you're excited to find out the results of your levels. It's only a few days away too! Arent'cha excited?

I'm very proud to announce that every level that includes a switch block puzzle will be receiving a terrible score from me.

Switch block puzzles don't equal good level design anymore, people. And don't try to hide it by having to collect keys instead. It's the same stupid concept.

There's only one way to get rid of this abomination and it's to downgrade all your PATHETIC levels for using those horrendous blocks.

You IDIOTS.

I usually use switch blocks in my levels......
but I never make a puzzle level with switches :/ because i'm suck at making puzzle levels

I can think of at least four levels that's going to seriously suffer from that. I can see your point, but I don't think it's going to stop some designers from making switch block puzzles.


And now for my announcement...

I will also announce that I have played almost all the joke levels now ^^

No matter how funny they were (or weren't, in many cases), they will be getting very low scores on my end. Yes I may like joke levels but they have no place in this contest other than for trolling purposes if they are not seriously designed. Now it's time to write the reviews for them that will be over 9000 characters long, as well as finish the last INFURIATING one.

Yeah, I've been inactive for a while. Just stopped coming here for whatever reason. Sorry about that. Still, I'll be lurking around more often, especially as I now have a craving to make SMBX levels again.

Honestly, switch block mazes arent bad because they are called "Switch Block Mazes" but because they are boring.
With some action and a lots of layer coding they shall be the most exciting things in SMBX
But, what if you die in the level and have to redo the puzzle over and over again???
Then you dont make it so hard, so the player may die only if he is impatient and he wants to rush, or you put a checkpoint before that section if its in the middle of a level, and you dont make it long as...

Ofc they are not! They cant be dead, the only thing shall be dead is their utilization in the wrong way.

Switch Mazes arent a painful thing and they dont give Nightmares to the player because they played a Maze level.
Yes, the linear, "go up hit the switch, go down hit the other, now go right and oops, you died after 10 minutes and no checkpoint... ah nevermind do it again" is really annoying, but Quill, you act like "Everything must be like I want to be" and it was painful when I've read what you said about scoring these levels. If the maze is boring, I agree what you said before, but in most cases I disagree this Switch hate because they are not bad at all, if the creator can use them properly ofc.
