Like I said, I am incredibly harsh. I am not here to be ol' super friendly person. This is a contest, and I expect it to be treated seriously.
As for that comment on me judging a level's difficulty, read this:
I kept you people up to date as I was reviewing, giving you info on just how many levels I found absolutely awful. And I am not the only one, as I was in a Skype Chat with a handful of people as I went through it. Chad and Tipsta are well known for being way too nice and just handing out points for no reason. Comparing them to me is fair, don't get me wrong, but you forget one thing. I am not them, I don't judge like they do and I take things very seriously.
And I am getting real god damn sick of the attacks on me just because I don't like your levels. Discussion is one thing, but mild flaming is a completely different story. While it is cute and honestly hilarious, I don't need all of these MS Paint pictures with my "face" plastered all over it. If you want to be childish about your feelings being hurt, go ask your mommy to kiss your boo-boo. The fact you all are just NOW having issues with me giving 0s, despite the fact I revealed how many I gave, shows how ignorant this community can be. Don't complain long after something happens, especially when you know all the information, just because you don't like the results.
Simply because my methodology and opinions vary from four incredibly lenient judges doesn't make my opinions any less valid. Whether you agree or not, those are word-for-word my expectations and notes for each and every level. If these designers had put in effort or had higher standards, then things would be different. But having every single judge give out high scores results in nothing happening, so you need someone to be the bad guy. Otherwise you won't know the truly unacceptable or terrible design choices you utilized.
As for "why don't you give constructive criticism", I have a valid reason. I have 44+ levels to deal with. One was stolen, one was by Mech and worthless, and like 10 others were just meant for submission purposes or difficult for no reason. I honestly believe that if a designer submits a level of this quality then they surely know that they are not trying their hardest and thus not worth my time. When a level either puts effort, tries to experiment or really surprises me, that is when I will put the effort to write half a page of comments. Until someone hits one of these three elements, they are not worth the time to even toss aside in the trashcan in my eyes.
As for the curse word thing, I find that incredibly inappropriate. Don't forget some people are either incredibly young or too immature to really handle the "big kid words." There is absolutely no reason to use profanity in a level.
