Either community could run it. There is a thread on Talkhaus.

It's already been clarified in the Talkhaus thread lol, the phrase "I'm opening it up to SMBX Forums" was just ambiguous

To basically lay out how things will work - I'm currently working on a site where voting will be held. After the submission phase ends, I'll get in touch with previous show runners/judges (myself, 8flight, ignoritus, Sturg, quill) and they'll be able to endorse an idea (provided they want to and provided they aren't running themselves). Then, after either a week or everyone endorses (whichever is first), I'll post the site and you can all vote!

Please stop posting about beta 4 constantly, because I mean, this thread doesn't even have anything to do with beta 4. I get you are eager for beta 4 to be released, but it will come out when it comes out. Constantly posting about, even in threads that have nothing to do with it, will not make it come out any faster.

Around this year or next year. I assumed, no?

On topic: I take a look on the thread's deadline "19/3/17" and I checked my calendar so it's 15/3/17. So 4 days left, good luck guys who PM'ed to Horikawa. (Not counting me because I don't shoot her with PM, just saying "good luck")

What is the point of a judge endorsing a show runner?

So, is this a kind of preceding approval?

We have entries from the following people (mostly, anyway :P):

In alphabetical order...
  • DragonFogel
  • MECHDRAGON777
  • PixelPest
  • rpgfan4
  • sebby19
  • Sturg
  • Supershroom
  • Willhart
I'll be making sure submissions follow the posted formatting rules (and editing as necessary to ensure they do, just like last year), passing the proposals onto the former judges, give a week for endorsements, and then open the website live for voting!

I can already tell who I'm gonna vote for, I hope those guys we're voting for the best of luck too.

You haven't even seen the themes/gimmicks each of the showrunners made yet though...

Doesn't mean that levels they've made outside of the contest aren't going to help them either.

I don't understand what you're referring to. Mind elaborating?

If a user joins a contest(let's say this one), and they've been making great levels for quite some time(other contests, projects, episodes), people are more likely to vote for them more than any other person because they make generally good levels often.

I doubt you know what's even happening.
Gimmick for the contest, not for a level. MaGLX2 had random name prompts and 2 characters which you had to design around. These showrunners listed above all came up with their own twists on the contest formula.
