Wow that shadow pyramid level is great. I know you can do similar things with layer attachments as well. I actually totally forgot you could utilize them in that way. It's a shame you need to use lua to make them travel in the opposite direction though. Ehhh whatever. It's still a cool concept that I wouldn't have been able to think up.

Continuing the trend of scrapped judge levels, this one was for ASLC, except I had to abandon judging for personal reasons and the level is kind of unfinished. I like how the first section turned out though, so here is that. Those are the facts and facts are facts, America.

A level doesn't need to pull any INSANE twist, be it in gameplay or story, to be good....and I think this level is the testament to that! It's just an overall solid level, with fun setups and a good sense of progression slapped on top of that as you continue on and the fire becomes more and more apparent, with the gameplay reflecting that. The climax is a real adrenaline pump, the ballin' soundtrack playing as you save the forest with your new power was a real rush! I just wish that the gameplay was a bit tighter nearing the finale to get that rush out of the system, but that's the most of it for the criticism. Congragulations on your 1st place, it certainly was a deserved one!
