I played Inconvenient Acension, and it was pretty fun. The gimmick was really cool and fun, and the checkpoints kept me from losing my sanity and fun. Keep making more of these fun levels!

Both of your puzzle levels: Saturn Tower and Inconvenient Acension are extremely enjoyable and creative; I love themeven if I am more of an action level guy. But, your action levels are also freaking cool, I love the aesthetic of Hidden Passage; especially that background, damn, it is good. Also I love any level that features "wood type" enemies, and those bushes that throw leaves are so cute.

Lastly, the hidden boss from Inconvenient A. is extremely good.

Interesting level, not much to really say here.

Above A Blinding Star:

Easily my favorite out of all of the ones I played. I am sad that DXtory doesnt like message boxes though, so I couldnt record that last one without my stuff getting corrupted.
You should make some adjustments to the boss's hitboss and arena however. With its massive hitbox, getting the higher torches on the left and right wings are incredibly difficult. I recommend expanding each of those one-block wide spaces to be two blocks.

Inconvenient Ascension:

Simply fun to play. I really expected it to be a lot harder but you are gradually guided throughout the level. I kind of wish there was a mechanic to let you slightly adjust your fall direction but I understand why its locked into one position.

Droplet Dell:

The fact you have no indication where the water "comes back" is rather jarring for the player. I highly recommend adjusting it.

Nah, legitemately though it took me about four minutes---which barely became one minute at the end.

I'm reviewing this in the lens of it's a betterified boss and it's only the boss in the level file
Overall, I think the boss fight is phenomenal

It felt like that to beat the boss you had to have a clear understanding of the boss' attacks and behavior.
Another thing I really enjoyed was that both phase 1 and phase 2 were possible to one cycle giving the boss more replay value than it already was. It was really fun to figure out how and when to execute it.
Phase 3 overall had a really good adrenaline rush feeling with the fast attacks so the feel was well created.

My only issue with the level was the dragons on the one cloud section since half the time it wasn't clear where I was safe and over 90% of my deaths during the boss were due to either the first or second dragon to the point that if I got damaged in section 2, I felt the need to reset although I didn't. I feel like another visual indication or a powerup in section 3 could have been used. Also, this is more of a mechanical issue and not an inherent one, but for some reason if you jump in the middle of the boss in the cloud form you get damaged and in the transition from phase 2 to phase 3 if you jump on the slightly higher sword in the middle you get damaged by the blue cloud.

I was going to say something about the last sword, but it works well in the context of a betterfried episode so it's fine in the fight.

Overall, this boss fight was extremely creative, well-done and had a ton of replay value. Just had a minor issue that kind of just made me have less fun as time went on.

Also Saturn Tower was a cool idea. It was executed very well and it's difficulty gradually increased which is good.

Waddle, about your latest level, i am amazed how you can do so much with so little resources, honestly a lot of your stuff have been including small amount of resources but you always managed to do them justice and put them into a good use. What is the reason for you to approach things in such a simplistic manner while being able to make them really complicated level design wise other than because you don't have much time?

Time is rarely a constraint since I'm not that worried to, say, spend two months chipping away at a level, making a setup whenever I feel like it but leaving it alone otherwise. Often I simply find that I don't need more elements to make a level engaging or fun, and so I don't add more elements and stick to the core.

I can really see that they were refined over a period of time, and its a good thing they weren't rushed.
