Full Disclosure. This originally started out as Vulgar Mario #2. But I realized at the end that it was not gonna work out that way so it became something else.

I give you. Bowser's JACK'D Castle!

It's not as jacked out as you think but the Difficulty setting should do ya some good

I also went one step beyond normal with this. I hid 2 collectible power stars within the level. They should be pretty obvious where. But getting to them will be up to you as I did throw hints here and there on how to get them. One hint you pretty much find out right away, where the other one you gotta figure out later on in the level:

And as with my previous level submissions you are more than welcomed to use them in contests or episodes. All I ask for is your honesty and credit in the episodes and contests.

Enjoy.. I really did take my time with this to try to get you a great playing level

Oh and in-case Lunar didn't turn it off when I saved.. Check to make sure the tester ain't in "god mode" I had to click that on so I can get you guys the screenshots in a more proper setting. Thx.

Screenshots are working now, so you're good. That being said, your level is bad. Like, really bad.

I will give credit where credit is due though. The first hidden star was a really clever item. Having to spin-jump on the Magikoopa projectiles to get a secret was a really cool idea. And the dialogue is at least decently funny too, which isn't very common in SMBX levels. However, there is a lot that should probably be changed.

First off, that room with all the items should be removed. Most players would go right for the tanooki or hammer suit and a yoshi which would essentially allow them to try and cheat the level.
Instead, you should have powerups spread throughout the level so you can control what the player has to work with and reward them for beating challenges.

Second, the design itself needs to be completely reworked. As a whole it's really bland and not consistent. Some areas are way too easy, some are way too hard, and some have glitches with the enemies that should be fixed. You might want to take out the minibosses too, cause they aren't terribly fun, and the final Bowser boss is far too easy. The room with the falling green Spiny eggs needs to be removed.

Third, your level is unbeatable. There are 2 areas with jumps that are impossible to make. It should be obvious where those are.

You would benefit a lot from testing your level more and making smarter design choices. You should work on striking a better balance between challenge and fairness because the difficulty is anything but fair. I hope you update this level and make changes that'll make it more enjoyable.

No. I actually re-created an old stunt from a previous level I made called Copainion [instead of companion I said Co-Pain-ion cause the levels were hell for alot of us] Spring's Revenge which i thought was a nice little strategic test. But to answer your question. Yes it's a screenshot

To be honest. most of the time when I was making this It was after a long day in the studio and I was half asleep. I added the item room as a quick handicap for those who don't want to use their brain meat to get through it. The level is beatable without the item room and stuff. I made a majority of the level for those who prefer to play their games in "super duper bada$$ mode" cause it seems every game coming out lately has been automatically on hard.

However I will just like the last level I made take everything into consideration and adapt it to my next level which will be Vulgar Mario 2: The forum hijacks the dialogue. So yeah.

I know my level making skills are bad... But it's not the worst lol. I just do this for fun.
