WELCOME THERE, EVERYBODY!
My name's Luiri, despite me being dumb and this account being named "Lwiri", the 2014*2015 me was so stupid, eh.
Anyway, it's me, and welcome to the topic of my SMBX Project, Luigi's Time: Rescue The World
For some, this name may be familiar, if you were around the forums in 2015, you may remember(if you remember this then you deserves a cookie) this project,
which is simply the first topic I've made, loooooong ago, for the project, back then I was using Google Translate for writing my posts, it shows how great my English was.

But we are not here for shaming my English skills, but to present this project, L'sT has been up since 2014, and up to date, it knew a total of 3 major versions (more like major changes),
an objective I have fixed for this project, it's to use as most custom tilesets as possible, to make my levels as unique as I can.

Anyway, enough talk, you're not here for that, but for the stuff to show:

THE STORY
Bowser kidnapped Peach & Mario, and it's you, Luigi, that has to save them, and to get through 16 Various Worlds & Landscapes.
the best scenario that everybody could dream of, you're all jealous I can see it in your eyes.

THE PROJECT
Up to 2014, and as said earlier, this project has known 3 major versions, the v1, pretty much classic, and no remains of it,
and then the v2, similar to the v3, except that it was more messy tnan it was now,
and then, the v3, the current version of the project, and pretty much how it is looking like.
Currently, the project is being made under the 1.4.4 / 38A "version" of SMBX, but I'm waiting for the beta 4 of the 2.0 to see if I could move it to this version.
The reason of why it's currently under the 38A? Well, as said earlier, the 2014/15 me was dumb, and despite starting this project under the 1.3, when I needed to save my files and changing my computer in 2016, I thought it was a nice idea to not save the 1.3 files, and instead to save the 1.4 files. So this explains why.

As stated, this project is featuring 16 Worlds, plus a 17th one, secret. And it will feature 128 Levels, 7 per worlds, and the special world, having 16 Levels.
Here's how far I am, at the moment, in the project:

Here's all I had to say about my work, I'm really open for your thoughts, again, blame my dumb version of myself for some mistakes,

Hey the screenshots look really good and your topic is also well made but if you plan to move to beta 4, then i am afraid you will have to re-do all of your current levels because you can't really convert 38A stuff to 2.0...
I think it will be a better decision if you finish your project on 38A because if you move to 2.0, you have to start over and it will take some time until you manage to catch up to your current progress.

This seems super interesting and well done! This is going to be a great episode, specially with that length you have planned. Though as Eri7 said, you'd better not move to Beta 4 when it comes out as you will need to start over with all of the progress that you'd have at that moment. 1.4 and 2.0 are different engines so they can't work each other

You will need to start over when you move to Beta 4
1.4 isn't compatible with 2.0

Very solid on the graphics, I learn just by looking at the screenshots. I hope development does move to SMBX 2, pretty sure I'm never going to try 1.4

If development does move to 2.0, he will have to start everything from scratch...

A bunch of days ago, i've went through the idea to remake my world maps, overall, I was very happy of the first version of the map I had done, but I felt that something were missing, and after watching some Newer SMBWii Videos, I got inspired by their world maps styles, and I went through this style for my own WM, here's the new looks for the Worlds 1 & 2:

This looks pretty fantastic! Incorporating visuals and objects found within the levels themselves into the world map is a great idea. It also makes each area in the world map stand out more and look more distinct. Well done!
