My project from 2017 is finally getting back into the swing of the things! This episode is getting a complete revamp from the ground up and I actually plan on it releasing it this time! :lol:

This is a relatively short episode featuring 4 worlds and 14 levels, with some secret bonus levels sprinkled in as well.

Made in SMBX 2.0 PAL (Yes I know you're not supposed to make episodes with it but I am fully prepared to fix everything after beta 4 comes out ;) )


Story

Spoiler: show
Luigi and Mario are chilling at home after Mario's last big adventure. When, to no surprise, they get word that big man Bowser is at it again. Only this time, Luigi decides to take the wheel. He refuses to allow Mario to go on this adventure, and sets off on his own. This time Bowser has quite a bit of new tricks up his sleeve. Who knows where our green friend will go this time?

World 1: Piranha Plant Plains - Your generic grassland first world - 3 levels, 1 secret exit. (100% Complete)
World 2: Vile Valley - A haunted canyon riddled with Boos - 4 levels, 1 secret exit. (50% Complete)
World 3: Peculiar Planet - A whole other planet filled with all new features and mechanics to discover! - 3 levels, 1 secret exit. (10% Complete)
World 4: Koopa Kore - Bowser's turf located deep inside a volcano. - 4 levels, 1 secret exit. (20% Complete)

This is a cool idea and a bit less generic than the usual "Luigi's Adventure",my question would be, are the levels built around Luigi's ability to jump high?

Definitely! This episode is designed for one player and is only completable as Luigi.

Will you be using LunaLua to ensure that only 1 player is available (since this is a 2.0 episode).

It is definitely possible to do that, but it's not on my first list of priorities at the moment since the episode is impossible without luigi.

This is a very fine episode you have here. Though some of the screens could use some more coins or other objects, it all looks very nice!
I shall return with a new episode...... soon.

I can't wait for this to come out so I can take it and then change all of the words in it to SWEARS and then reupload it.

I'll call it Luigi's Exclusive Expedition: Expletive Edition.

My kidding aside, that is a pretty ECCENTRIC title.

I'm hesitant to thrust my opinion on the rest of your work but it looks alright to me. It looks like some good clean SMBX fun.

Wow! This project looks really great! I really like the volcano section.
I will probably never be able to pass any challenge stage :cry:

Holy cow, this looks (literally, the custom GFX are amazing) awesome!! I can't wait to dive in! I would suggest secret exits so that it adds replay ability to each level, and maybe they would be stars and the stars unlock stuff? I dunno, just fireballin' here.

Hiatus means that it has been put on hold; no major work is being done for this.
