Hello everyone! Here is my new project:
The game takes place on an island, which is the hub world. Each world is a part of the island.
The episode will have 9 worlds and each world will have about 5 levels. In total there will be about 50 levels. I am trying to make the levels pretty long, but some levels will be a bit shorter.
The episode is being made in SMBX 1.3.0.1.
World 1 - Primary Passage: 4/4 levels done
World 2 - Briny Beach: 5/5 levels done
World 3 - Cracking Cavern: 6/6 levels done
World 4 - Molewood Forest: 5/5 levels done
World 5 - Western Waters: 4/6 levels done
World 6 - Toad Town: 2/4 levels done
World 7 - Cold Cliffs: 5/6 levels done
World 8 - Misty Mountains: 3/6 levels done
World 9 - The Heart of Heat: 0/? levels done
World map: 75%
On a hot evening at the Mushroom Castle, Peach gets a phone call from Spy Toad. He says he has followed Bowser to an island and he is standing on a volcano on that island. The volcano is called 'The Heart of Heat'. Bowser is on the volcano too and Spy Toad thinks he has evil plans with 'The Heart of Heat'. It is up to a great hero to stop Bowser and that hero is... YOU! (that is, if you play the game)
When the hero arrives at the island, he discovers that Bowser is terrorising the people with his goombas, koopas and even an army of robots. Also, Bowser notices that someone has entered his isolated territory and he does everything to stop the hero, by hiring evil people and making the animals agressive. Will the hero succeed?
Screenshots
The levels and the world I am making myself. The graphics and music I use are mostly default and from default episodes, The Invasion 2 and Peach Cliche. For some levels I made graphics myself.

The screenshots look good, they look way better than how your episode looked, also the story is interesting and i am looking forward to your project's development.

It's not a sequel, but some levels are a bit in the same style as levels from my previous episode, but improved.

Do you mean how it can move or how I made it transparent?

How you made it transparent in 1.3, and how did you make it move infinitely?

I used these images:
 < background-138.gif
 < background-138m.gif
If the image with 'm' behind the name is in a color that is lighter than the image without 'm', the graphic becomes transparent.
For letting them move and making them foreground, I changed the name of the water graphics to the name of SMW checkpoint foregrounds (background-138.gif and background-138m.gif).
By the way, I am not the first one who had this idea.

I like your cruise ship. I've never really seen anything like it and it looks very well made.

Maglx2 had one as a hub iirc.

The screenshots look good, and I'm impressed at how these graphics are being mixed, it doesn't clash too much.

This is looking good! Definitely a step up from your last episode! However...
The city background seems to have lost its quality, same for the fireball. I'm guessing this from resizing the graphics to fit SMBX's 2 pixel ratio (sorry if this terminology is incorrect). That used to happen to me long ago. I changed my resampling to setting to "Nearest Neighbor", and by absolute size. That fixed my problem. Maybe you could try that (I don't know if you're using paint.net or not) and see if that fixes the issue. Unless, however you've already fixed this or it is a different problem.

Thanks for noticing that. The problem was that I used Microsoft Paint for the background and the fireball, which caused the bad quality. I fixed the problem by using paint.net and now the quality is better. I hope now it is good enough.
The new screenshots with the improved quality are posted in the main post.
