Hey guys! I thought it was about time I made a forum topic for this project so here it is!
This project has been in development for the past 3 months and development has been slow due to me being the only one who is basically doing the work on the levels and stuff, but I have some other peeps helping along.
Mario and the Wrath of Dimentio is a SMBX 2.0 project by Featherflock Studios (creator was actually me), and being developed along with some people from the Novaverse community.. Mario finally comes home from another adventure to find Luigi with a letter from Princess Peach saying that she needs the Mario bros. need to come to the castle about a threat from none other than the demented jester himself, the master of dimensions, and the pleaser of crowds, Dimentio! He and his henchman have taken over the worlds surrounding the Mushroom Kingdom, and Dimentio plans to end the world and create a new one in his own image after he defeats Mario and his friends! Why is he doing this? To get his wrath of course from the events of Super Paper Mario! Will Mario be able to stop Dimentio and his fiendish goons? Or will the world fall into his hands? Who knows, It's only up to Mario and his friends to save the world!

It will only consist of the first world, the next demo may contain 5, unsure of that yet, but this is just for the public to test and see how the project is, I mean heck. This will be my biggest episode yet!
Cutscene dialogs in the intro are too clichéd. They could be a bit shorter and Mario and Luigi shouldn't have any accent, it just feels odd and cringy for me. Keep it to a minimum, an occasional "lets-a-go" is acceptable.
The toad village is pretty cool.
First two levels are okay as introductory levels, although I wish a little more coins and enemies. Clear pipes should be removed at places where they don't serve any purpose.
Third level is awesome as we established; only little nitpick is that there are only mushroom power-ups after the checkpoint.
The fortress level is good, I especially like the cutscene. I think the boss is manageable because all you need to do on the bomb rains is jump at the right rhythm.
Is there any reason to why World 1 just has three levels and a fortress, like original SMB1? Or could it become a bit larger?
