So...following the additional star a while back, crusher169 would have given raocow the 169th star either way?
The way the code works, they ARE effectively the same episode.

It's more to do with it coming in from a hub vs in the editor vs on a map (I think a map would be fine). Anyway it'll be fixed in the final release and didn't impact the score in any way.

You onle needed to kill the monster things, and hitting Kammek was more like a secret bonus thing for those who want to defeat the boss that way instead. Kamek was technically there to help the player, even if he couldn't do much.

(The events were hooked to the monsters.)
But the messages are displayed when Kamek is hit? If not, I'd be severely disappointed, since he'd question his master's actions when he just throws the enemies into each other.

The messages were on Kamek of course, and trigger only if you attack him. The progression of the phases was tied to the monster thing though.

That is MaGL X1 download from the last year. MaGL X2 is twice as large and not even open for public yet.

Edit: The levels alone were 2.8 GB.

What's with those LunaLua HUD and text backdrop graphics we've seen in Mabel's levels and today's Metal Gear Solid level?

MaGL X2 Level Breakdowns:
  • 131st - No Lynch: 'Have Some Goomba' - 60.69 (64/55/63):
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: Easy
    Final Score: 60.6966666667
    Name Mulligans: 0
    Character Mulligans: 0
    Raw Score: 60.6666666667
    Horikawa's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 64
      Uniqueness: 8
      Personal Fun Factor: 14
      Other Person Fun Factor: 14
      Music: 6
      Graphics: 9
      Character Use: 3
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: Really nice level! I don't have many complaints except it could have been a bit longer, had a bit less dialogue (it was well written though), and less powerups to keep the tension!
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 55
      Uniqueness: 8
      Personal Fun Factor: 13
      Other Person Fun Factor: 12
      Music: 9
      Graphics: 3
      Character Use: 1
      Level Name Adherence: 9
Comments: The Goomba re-sprites are what make this level fun, without them this wouldn't had been as great. Also DAE think the power-up is pretty much a vibrator?
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 63
      Uniqueness: 9
      Personal Fun Factor: 11
      Other Person Fun Factor: 13
      Music: 7
      Graphics: 9
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: Odd level, but I like how everything is literally a goomba. Fits the level name well.
    130th - 7TC7: 'Overwrought Screen' - 60.70 (64/54/64):
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: Easy
    Final Score: 60.7066666667
    Name Mulligans: 0
    Character Mulligans: 0

    • Final Score: 64
      Uniqueness: 11
      Personal Fun Factor: 18
      Other Person Fun Factor: 15
      Music: 8
      Graphics: 6
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 2
Comments: I loved the theme and the graphics, but I don't think you effectively used the name and the Boom-Boom Boo was unnecessary. However, having two paths to the star was super nifty!
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 54
      Uniqueness: 11
      Personal Fun Factor: 13
      Other Person Fun Factor: 12
      Music: 2
      Graphics: 4
      Character Use: 5
      Level Name Adherence: 7
Comments: Fun usage of the name, I enjoyed the 'creepypasta-esque' theme. Some graphics could be better though and the level design is a bit repetitive and/or lack-luster. Not to mention the vague 2nd path.
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 64
      Uniqueness: 11
      Personal Fun Factor: 10
      Other Person Fun Factor: 14
      Music: 7
      Graphics: 7
      Character Use: 5
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: Very unique concept but there was some odd platforming that either didn't work or didn't make much sense. Nice atmosphere though.
129th - raocow: 'Everyone's a winner in the Book of the Dead! It's just that the prize is pretty terrible' - 61 (60/44/79) (Developer Commentary):
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: Hard
    Final Score: 61
    Name Mulligans: 0
    Character Mulligans: 0
    Raw Score: 61

    • Final Score: 60
      Uniqueness: 8
      Personal Fun Factor: 6
      Other Person Fun Factor: 13
      Music: 8
      Graphics: 10
      Character Use: 5
      Level Name Adherence: 8
Comments: I liked the atmosphere, but the final sections were over my ability. I adored the first half, but the second was really frustrating in-between being really fun. I loved the music and art though! <3<3<3
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 44
      Uniqueness: 10
      Personal Fun Factor: 8
      Other Person Fun Factor: 5
      Music: 6
      Graphics: 3
      Character Use: 3
      Level Name Adherence: 7
Comments: Visually it's messy, and obstacles were flat-out cheap. Having to redo the lenghty gauntlet that is the 2nd half several times after dying to random bullcrap, like avoiding 4 Bowsers at once, made this unfun.
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 79
      Uniqueness: 15
      Personal Fun Factor: 17
      Other Person Fun Factor: 15
      Music: 8
      Graphics: 7
      Character Use: 5
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: Trust raocow to make a level full of complete nonsense. Good nonsense, of course.
128th - SuperWingedYoshi: 'Hey Buddy! Get Your Snifit Off My Bastion' - 61.01 (64/47/72):
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: Medium
    Final Score: 61.01
    Name Mulligans: 0
    Character Mulligans: 0
    Raw Score: 61

    • Final Score: 64
      Uniqueness: 8
      Personal Fun Factor: 16
      Other Person Fun Factor: 13
      Music: 7
      Graphics: 7
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 8
Comments: This was a super amazing and fun level until it ended! I loved what was there, I just wish there was more! =(
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 47
      Uniqueness: 6
      Personal Fun Factor: 7
      Other Person Fun Factor: 9
      Music: 8
      Graphics: 6
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 6
Comments: The short auto-scroll section is fine and all, but that's most of the level's content besides some jumps over lava. The rest is dialogue which btw, Peach's mouth needs to be washed out with soap.
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 72
      Uniqueness: 11
      Personal Fun Factor: 13
      Other Person Fun Factor: 15
      Music: 10
      Graphics: 8
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: Yeah, it did feel a bit rushed towards the end, but I did like the start of the level. The auto scroll was a nice touch.
    127th - Maiku Wotaharu: 'Obtainable Guitar Pool' - 61.02 (59/60/64):
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: Easy
    Final Score: 61.02
    Name Mulligans: 0
    Character Mulligans: 0
    Raw Score: 61
    Horikawa's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 59
      Uniqueness: 8
      Personal Fun Factor: 14
      Other Person Fun Factor: 13
      Music: 7
      Graphics: 6
      Character Use: 1
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: This level had the potential to be really tedious, but your “trust the fungus” hint made it really neat! Also, I LOVED the Guitar Pool. Way to take this name far!
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 60
      Uniqueness: 8
      Personal Fun Factor: 15
      Other Person Fun Factor: 13
      Music: 10
      Graphics: 4
      Character Use: 3
      Level Name Adherence: 7
Comments: The music made this very relaxing, and the mix of the linearity and explorability is neat. The dragon coin hidden beneath the quicksand was extremely slow and tedious to get though.
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 64
      Uniqueness: 7
      Personal Fun Factor: 13
      Other Person Fun Factor: 14
      Music: 10
      Graphics: 6
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: Some of the Dragon Coin placements are weird, such as the quicksand. Regardless, I like the basic platforming, it added a lot of charm to the level.
    126th - Fawriel: 'a nice level' - 61.66 (71/39/75) - Horikawa and Quill's Favourite MaGL X2::
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: N/A
    Final Score: 61.6666666667

      Other Person Fun Factor: 11
      Music: 10
      Graphics: 10
      Character Use: 0
      Level Name Adherence: 0
Comments: For me, a level can be more than simply an 'avoid obstacles until the end' experience (Holy). I realise many disagree. This felt a perfect fit for my tastes/interests in more experimental, exploratory design.
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 39
      Uniqueness: 14
      Personal Fun Factor: 1
      Other Person Fun Factor: 5
      Music: 10
      Graphics: 9
      Character Use: 0
      Level Name Adherence: 0
Comments: I know getting a good score wasn't your goal, so don't take the score to heart, as I mainly judged this from a game-play perspective, but it's really the experience that makes this level special.
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 75
      Uniqueness: 15
      Personal Fun Factor: 25
      Other Person Fun Factor: 15
      Music: 10
      Graphics: 10
      Character Use: 0
      Level Name Adherence: 0
Comments: This level blew me away. While it's not fully a 'level' level, it presented an amazing atmosphere regardless and the progression was very unique.
125th - Frozen Boo: 'Ewww! the Koopa Paratroopa Are All Covered in Blue!!!!' - 61.67 (59/60/66):
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: Medium

      Personal Fun Factor: 15
      Other Person Fun Factor: 12
      Music: 6
      Graphics: 8
      Character Use: 3
      Level Name Adherence: 8
Comments: It didn't break any boundaries or anything, but it was a fun little romp with a funny story to go along with it. What more could you really want from a level?
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 60
      Uniqueness: 8
      Personal Fun Factor: 14
      Other Person Fun Factor: 15
      Music: 6
      Graphics: 7
      Character Use: 2
      Level Name Adherence: 7
Comments: I dug the use of Monty Moles and the paint dispensers, as it made for interesting platforming. Buoy Base was probably not the best music choice though, as it didn't really match the level's tone.
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 66
      Uniqueness: 11
      Personal Fun Factor: 11
      Other Person Fun Factor: 13
      Music: 9
      Graphics: 8
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 9
Comments: Some areas felt really overloaded with enemies, such as with the monty moles. I did like the dripping paint though.
124th - Third Murderer: 'My world is literally bacon at this point. No wait!' - 62 (52/54/80):
    Spoiler: show
    Name Difficulty: Hard
    Final Score: 62

      Other Person Fun Factor: 6
      Music: 7
      Graphics: 7
      Character Use: 2
      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: You made this name make a LOT of sense. That's pretty amazing! Unfortunately it wasn't very fun for me. It needed to be bunches of rooms with mini pig-escort challenges instead of one big one!
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 54
      Uniqueness: 9
      Personal Fun Factor: 7
      Other Person Fun Factor: 8
      Music: 9
      Graphics: 9
      Character Use: 4
      Level Name Adherence: 6
Comments: This concept has two critical errors: Having to be so precise pressing the switch, and how freaking slow the Pig is. You can thankfully break the entire level via the green shells. Hooray for oversights!!
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 80
      Uniqueness: 15
      Personal Fun Factor: 19
      Other Person Fun Factor: 13
      Music: 10
      Graphics: 7

      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: This is incredibly creative, though mistakes are pretty punishing, but I found that to be really fun! Great concept!
123rd - Man1234FK: 'I Believe That Boom Boom Are Shrill and I Feel Very Strongly About This!' - 62.33 (48/68/71):

      Music: 4
      Graphics: 6
      Character Use: 2
      Level Name Adherence: 8
Comments: The way you handled the name was pretty neat! I thought the tile gimmick was done well too. I just wish the level had more 'oomph' if that makes sense! Great try! =D
    Sturg's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 68

      Graphics: 9
      Character Use: 2
      Level Name Adherence: 6
Comments: That stupid screech made me giggle and I don't know why. Creative gimmick, even if it becomes less of a challenge when you spot the notable difference between each block. Still, it's used well.
    Quill's Breakdown
    • Final Score: 71

      Level Name Adherence: 10
Comments: Man, those screams frightened me a little at first as I didn't realize it was the level's music because I forgot to talk to the Toad.
    122nd - ChanceWolf: 'Wheel Wood' - 62.66 (52/63/73):

      Level Name Adherence: 8
Comments: Super cute little level! I freaking loved the idea of a train with a forest on it like touring the planet for some reason. I thought the second star was neat too! Needed polish though!

Comments: Awesome use of the title name and character gimmick! Great design too, it's equally doable as both characters. The moving layers were a cool feature, but sometimes the Ghost house Backgrounds looked weird while moving.

It was funny how Raocow removed the "It's just that the prize is pretty terrible" when he let someone else play it.

Okay, to be honest, I probably might have scored this on the higher side as well, and I do see how it can be a favorite. However, I still need to see the ones after this.

Yeah, but I was not even trying with my level and it is rushed! I expect bottom tier.

Negative thoughts. It won't happen yet... Not yet, but soon. (Same goes for my level(or maybe it's VERY SOON(like next level soon))).

All I know is that a level that was not meant to get the top 300 is in the top 121! (Next level is 123, which is luigi and 2 stars, and after that, the place I guessed I would be and guessed wrong.) so, unless Raocow does three or more levels in three and a half hours, my level will not be revealed or has no chance of being revealed today!
