I have been doing some graphics the past 5 months so I wanted to share them , most of them are made for 38A and I have to port them to 2.0 so I decided to make 3 versions of the graphic pack , 2.0 , 38A and 1.3.

It looks like you've made some neat stuff!

However, there are a few issues I've spotted in the screenshots:
  • The background of the first screenshot doesn't look good having been scaled up so far in the background and closer to the bottom it's bright enough to almost look foreground.
  • The large dry bones doesn't look good because of the sharp corners (both on the head and the shell) which probably should be a little more curved (especially the shell).
  • Some major pillowshading, like on the gray block beside the cat in the first screenshot, on the red shirt of the person two to the left, and the cloud, to name a few.
  • The shading on the cat and the person in the red shirt is a little iffy. Try to figure out where the light source is and work from there.
  • It's hard to tell due to the palette if some of the objects in the second screenshot are solid or not.
  • The curtains/drapes/ribbons/tapestries in the third screenshot have interesting shading and don't loop well.
  • It might be useful to give the windows some glass panes with minimal transparency since they do have not just a frame but also the bars coming across.
  • Also some arguable looping issues in the same screenshot's main tileset, although they could just be design choices.
  • I don't think the style of the grass fits the style of the ground in the last screenshot; it's very cartoony, has a very saturated palette, and awkward shading and shape.
Despite this, there's good stuff here, some of which I might use in the future

Wow, this graphics pack is amazing! Im super impressed on how this looks, i cant wait to download it! One tip if i had for it, to decrease the constant pillow shading, however besides that, this pack is absolute beautiful

Looks pretty good, but the only main thing that's annoying me is all the 1x1 pixels. They're everywhere, in the backgrounds, bgos, blocks, npcs, tons of stuff (it's annoying me the most with the backgrounds). 1x1 pixels really don't fit with anything when it comes to SMBX, unless you're making a fully "HD" pack where everything is meant to have 1x1 pixels. What I'd suggest is, when making custom SMBX gfx, make sure everything is scaled down by 50% with Nearest Neighbor settings, basically setting anything pre-made to 1x1 pixels. When you're done making stuff, scale it by 200%, still with nearest neighbor, then save it as whatever file you want. Then everything will be 2x2 pixels like they're supposed to be. Again, there's plenty of cool stuff in here, but all the 1x1 pixels are really annoying. Hope to see some improvement soon, along with any future graphics you have. =)

some of the backgrounds you have in this pack are great and are definitely useful for levels; however, there are some issues with scaling in some of your backgrounds as well.

This one for example. When you're making something look more distant, you got the color right, but things appear smaller when they're farther away. You got this one completely reversed lol.

I just hope the 1.4 GFX pack won't have that NSMB series GFX that terribly clashes with literally everything...

Well, even if it does, no one will have to use it :P

Ah don't worry , i will not include any nsmbwii graphics because they are not made by me , they are made by Nintendo.Anyways i hope i finish the 38A pack soon with new graphics because i think they can be helpful to you.

The current version is 1.3.0.1 fyi (that's what the main download is for) and there are no more updates to 1.3
