Month of March

Postby Quill » Thu Mar 01, 2018 12:05 pm

Hey SMBX Community, it's March!

For those who don't know, we use these monthly threads to post the latest announcements in addition to featuring an episode and graphics pack.

Here are the new announcements:

- SMBX All-Stars Level Contest: For those unaware, a new contest has been launched! There's still plenty of this from this post to participate by submitting a level, so definitely join if you can! You can find more information here.
- Discord Events: Last weekend on our Discord server, we had a Cards Against Humanity session with SMBX-themed cards. We'll be doing more CAH events and much more in the future, so if you haven't already, make sure you join the server so you can join in on the fun! You can find more information in this thread.
- The Social Media team is recruiting! - If you'd like to help us manage our social media pages on Facebook and Twitter, message Aristo or Wind on either the forums or our Discord server with why you want to join or if you have any questions.
- Board warnings - Warnings will now be used to give users a notice for breaking the rules. Details for this system will be announced after being fully implemented.
- Quick rules - Rules will be displayed while browsing the forum to be a reminder and quick reference.
- Forum rules - The forum rules will be updated to be more detailed and specific. Reporting reasons will also be adjusted accordingly.

Here are the featured picks of this month:

Featured Episode
SMB: A New Beginning

SMB: A New Beginning is another classic episode that takes advantage of what SMBX has to offer, such as with the use of both a world map and hubs.

Featured Graphics Pack
DM's GFX Pack

This graphics pack features tilesets that have grown to be very popular with the SMBX community, not to mention tilesets themed around Super Mario Maker!

A quick reminder that we are still recruiting Level Reviewers. If you have an interest in reviewing levels and you think you can do it well, you're more than welcome to apply. For more information, check out this thread.

And that's it for this month!

See you next month!
