Locking the screen on SMBX 2.0

Does anyone know how to lock the screen on SMBX 2.0? I want to do this for a boss fight similar to this but on 2.0:

There is no difference aside from being more convenient to do in SMBX2, you still resize the section with the appropriate event.

Thanks. I think I just figured it out actually. On 2.0 I just had to press Enter after adjusting the desired section.
