Something I didn't know at first about Mario was that he has been a carpenter before he was a plumber.

The most obvious one, that Samus was actually a woman.

I didn't know that Paper Mario was originally named "Super Mario RPG II" and was originally worked on by Square Soft

Woah, really?! What would have happened in an alternative timeline if it was really named Super Mario RPG 2?

Apparently Nintendo said recently that he's not a plumber, but just takes up what job is nessecary at the time or something like that.

Added in 1 minute 34 seconds:
Also I thought DK2 was called "Diddy Kong's quest" but apparently it's "Diddy's Kong quest".

Here's a little something I discovered yesterday about the Duke Nukem series that I didn't know till yesterday when I was on Twitter:

There is a Duke Nukem game on the Gameboy Color. And I was like, "I didn't know this was a installment of this series on GBC"

I didn't know that Daisy and Luigi were a couple, I got kinda surprised when I noticed that, specially when I saw the Daisy Circuit in MKWii

And here's something that I think some of you SMBX members might know:

Did some of y'all know that SEGA & Sonic Team made a arcade version of Sonic 1? And it's quite different than the Mega Drive masterpiece.

No offense but you are quite the Sega geek! XD

Maybe the fact that Toadette existed, at one point
And also like Eri that Samus was a woman (I knew something was fishy about "zero suit samus" :?: )

I learnt that Dr Kawashima from Brain Training is a real neuroscientist who looks pretty much the same as the in-game character, and that Brain Training was based off his work. I also found the origins of the Tertis theme, it's a Russian folk song called Korobeiniki. Probably old news, but I learnt these recently and thought it was worth mentioning in this topic.

Something interesting that I learned about one of the games I have, Mercury Meltdown Revolution, is that the original creator of the series Archer Maclean also made the games Dropzone for the Atari, International Karate for the Commodore 64, and various pool games. However, he left the company Awesome Studios shortly after the original Mercury game was created, and moved on.

I never even heard of Dropzone or International Karate before, but maybe someone else here has.
Don't expect me to post here often, if at all.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that this isn't supposed to happen.

Did Nintendo actually outright say that? I mainly am unsure because Mario and Daisy are what appears to be a couple in the original Super Mario Land.

It's most likely a thought of mine then

Here's a little something I didn't know about a forgotten 90's mascot video game character, but I'm sure a few of y'all would know:

Did ya know that Gex the Gecko was suppose to be the main mascot of the Panasonic 3DO?
