I think you just have to be recognized somehow for your abilities - there's not really any specific "requirements".

Oh, okay, but if it's that, so I don't think I'll get it because it's still an early phase. I really want to be recognised by something special on me, like my ability to do easily styled GFX

You just need to prove that you're able to make good graphics and stuff. Check out some of my 'art' threads and you'll hopefully see what I'm talking about:

wait, wait, wait. In order to get the artist badge you have to make good SMBX gfx, right? Not just any type of graphics. (Like my animations)

Actually I think any graphics count

Like, I got my Artist medal because of the GFX pack which I made before the SM3DW stuff and my GIF animations, but some other users got it because of their artworks and stuff.

I don't know if my graphics are good, but I'm sure I'll improve myself soon !
