This is my favorite level in So, you think you can Mario?
If you want to go in blind please don't watch the video, but if you need all the help you can get please watch it. Feel free to try and beat my time (not that hard tbh) or just beat it if you're less talented.

This level seems more suited for Casual Levels.

I agree. I'm interested in trying this, but casual levels might be the right place for this one. ~

I think you should at least ask before taking that kind of think into your own hands. Mivixion is a mod; he should know the rules about (and differences between) regular and casual levels, and if you think he just made this for fun and didn't want this to be given a proper review, you should let him know that that kind of level should be posted in Casual Levels, and let him decide for himself whether or not it should go in Casual Levels. There have been a couple times where I thought a level would be more suited as a casual level, but when I asked, the level creator said he didn't want that. Plus, there was the time someone moved SMBX Teaches Typing to Casual Levels, even though I specifically wanted that level to be reviewed.

I feel embarrassed that didn't cross my mind. ~ x.x

I'm going to move this back to levels in that case. Many apologies!

Kinda sad you lost focus of the name gimmick after just a few screens. I would've really liked it if there was more challenge revolving around shells. Maybe you could've incorporated different shell colours in conjunction with Yoshi

If it had been a standalone level it would have done more with shells, but as the last level of my episode naturally I found it fitting to do some tweaks. On that note any player who can beat the portion within shells deserves a break and some powerups.

Finally a Review

Although some people don't like hard levels like this that have an extremely high difficulty level, this level was mostly very well designed and used very intuitive traps and obstacles that challenged the players skill and mind. It was quite well designed up to the point with the Venus Fire Traps which was kind of overload even with a Hammer Suit and kind of wastes the player's time since it isn't very difficult, just long and annoying. This level isn't very graphically pleasing since it does have some instances of poor mixes of graphics and cutoff, but overall isn't too bad in this respect. Overall, I really liked the first part of the level due to its intuitive and skill-needing tricks, however the latter part of the level seemed like a bit of a let down, but still had a few good ideas.

4.5/10
