Review of Justice or Just Ice by diamantico21
Design and Gameplay: 5.3/10 (weighed 70%)
Although this level used some interesting concepts, it seemed really random and all over the place. It's like getting a sampler dish from a restaurant and then being told you can't have the things you sampled in full. The concepts such as the Grinders and the Propeller block jumping were interesting but just not used very long. Some areas also felt a little bland due to poor coin placement and there was some poor NPC choices, like eeries. The last section was also poorly made and seemed like an excuse just to drag out the level. You just jumped from springboard to springboard to springboard...with no enemies nor BGOs nor blocks to make it look appealing. There were also some really tight sections in the level that made it difficult to deal with the NPCs, such as the paragaloomba. Power-up placement was pretty good though.
Graphics and Music: 6.0/10
This level used some nice graphics, however there were some that really didn't fit the theme. I also didn't like the music choices for this level. Although the music kind of fit for the overworld section, I didn't agree with your choice for it in the cave section. The atmosphere of this level is okay, but it's kind of all over the place due to the many different themes (snow, ruins, ice cave) in such a relatively short amount of level. The pipes were also poorly recoloured and the Big Bill didn't fit.
Overall: 5.51/10 (Average)
