Story
Wart is trying to conquer Subcon another time, but this time he wants to get also the star of Subcon, which is basically a star that gives power to Subcon. So, Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad will have to go to Subcon another time to stop Wart from doing this evil thing.

I need to put some sceneries in the clouds and on the castle of world S (the lava world). Also, that cave is just a place where there are some secret levels. Last thing, can anyone tell me what song would be good for the mountain world (and maybe for the others too)? I can't find a fitting song for that world in the default ones

There were level designer for this project once, but they got rid because it wasn't interesting at all and it was honestly a stupid idea. I might get rid of some levels made by other people and remake them. Maybe.
Those who submitted a level were h2643, Spinda and HenryRichard.

Download Demo 1
-I've put some LunaLua codes in it. The demo can be played without LunaLua, but it's recommended to get it. (and after all it fixes some bugs)
-6-2 is WIP and there's no entrance.
-It's recommended to play the levels in the editor, but if you want to play everything in the start game, I've included a save file where imtiredofallthiswalking cheat was typed. (be aware that I haven't finished some stuff in the world map).

I've finished this level. The yellow clouds are gray at first, and turn yellow and become hurtful every 4 seconds (Obviously the player the warned about which clouds turn yellow).

Nice that you still work onto this.

I really feel the lack of SMB2 episodes, and yours looks really interesting to play, even though, it also may turn out rather challenging at times, but this is okay for me. ^^
The recolors, that you have onto the sixth and ninth screenshots, looks nice to me. I also should include custom recolors when I release an update of the SMB2-pack (which will happen once I have finished my project).

The idea with the thundering clouds is cool. What do you use to hurt the player? Maybe an indestructible NPC?

Onto the seventh screenshot, there is a giant cactus placed in a very odd way. That is the only thing I really would change so that the cactus has a solid connection to the ground it is standing on.

I guess you have still more work in front of you, than behind you, so I wish you a good succsess and steady progress on your project.

I hope you mod in the less popular SMB2 bosses, other than just using the SMBX-vanilla Wart, Birdo, and Mouser. Either way, this looks fantabulistic. :)

This a level I recently started. It has a focus on hoopsters.
I've also tried to remake the world map (a few worlds didn't get a remake though): http://imgur.com/fwwh1I6

Sorry for the late reply, I just don't like posting here without some progress.
I don't think you should include recolors in your pack, they're really easy to do. But if you really want to, you should put recolors that are actually interesting, like for example a grassland version of the volcano tileset

I used a donut block.

I don't get what's odd with that cactus, to me it looks fine.

Actually I'm almost halfway done. And thanks for your reply.

That's awesome. I really like the flame boss and the crab boss, but I haven't seen them around in forever, so good work.

Hey dude, I got some world map song suggestions.

Grassy Plains - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d5gzY_FQHs

Desert - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHxlg071khI

Ice Cavern - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0Bi-lcUxCk

Snow Plains - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD8TRj5Dvp4

Mountain - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqAmBaC2DTE

Volcano World - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPmKyhpM500

I know that the music is not relative to the music in SMB2, but it's still good map music and I think you should consider it. Credit the people though!

Almost every song except for the donkey kong country one is a level them (All of them were made and used for VLDC7).
VLDC7 had also world map music and I might use them.

Are you sure that the demo is playable without Lua? Immediately when I wanted to start playing, Mario was frozen in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Sounds like you were transported into a level that doesn't exist. I think "Autostart level" points to a non-existent level file.

Yeah, I removed the intro level from the folder before uploading the beta, but forgot to update the world map. This should fix it.

I finished this level some time ago and somehow forgot to take screenshots.

I'd recommend you spaced out the moving platforms in the first screen, cause they look pretty cramped to me. Also, is the second screen some sort of bonus room, and what purpose does the cherries serve?

But overall, this looks pretty darn' sweet! Glad to know this isn't dead, keep it up!

What do you mean that they look cramped? If I space out the platforms, they would be harder to reach sometimes.
The second screen isn't a bonus room, you can clearly see the spiny eggs. The cherries indicate where you shouldgo to avoid getting it.

I specifically meant the gap where the para shy guy was was pretty small, so I would recommend spacing that out some more. Also, I mistook the spiny eggs for wooden platforms.

I finished a new level. It's a ghostly forest which uses those block bridges in SMW that expands and contracts (there are only vertical ones becuase horizontal ones simply don't work). The ones with the phanto face are hurtful.
