Yeah, the level designer group has become obsolete. However Level Reviewers are not supposed to be a usergroup by nature (as explicitely said in Kley's thread).

Forgot about that part. Also seems level reviewers are no longer being recruited as it wasn't mentioned in the month of april thread?
Also tbh i guess if it was still the level judges system that we had, i probably wouldn't be one right now, so i am thankful that i have been given this fantastic opportunity to help out.

I forgot, weren't Level Designers recruited to basically make "official" episodes or something like that?

Question: will all users be able to post in the Roleplay forum once Mario D&D is over or just staff?

Level designers is really just a role that says "Hey look at me I made a successful project.". It's not very helpful or needed, but it's cool to be recognised for your work. It's kind of like getting knighted for doing charity, good deeds ect. It's the forum's version of 'knighting'.

The level designers rank was for those who made official episodes. The made NGCA and were making The Invasion 3 before it died.

^ This is correct, it has nothing to do with status or having made a successful project in the past. It's just for people who worked on NGCA and at some point TI3 before it was cancelled.

I think around the time of its formation it was centered around zephyr and krazykoopa, who had made the original TGCA a long time ago and then NGCA around the early days of this forum, and was intended to be a team of people (perhaps led by them? but I don't think I formally asked them to do that) designing levels for episodes to be included on the main site. It then evolved into the design group for TI3, and now doesn't really serve much of a purpose due to the inactivity of that project.

You can actually use that theme if you go into board preferences.

Quick question: Since some of the icons are animated GIFs, would it be ok if you could just provide a non-animated picture with the frames, since I'm using Paint.net which doesn't have the ability to edit animated GIFs without plugins?

There's many programs on the Internet that you can use to create an animated .gif file. Though I'd suggest it's not necessarily required

I believe yes.

Also, can you add animation to icons that previously didn't have any, and can you change the speed of animations?
