I don't understand what you're referring to. Mind elaborating?
If a user joins a contest(let's say this one), and they've been making great levels for quite some time(other contests, projects, episodes), people are more likely to vote for them more than any other person because they make generally good levels often.
I mean, I'm a shit level designer, but a gosh darned good contest showrunner. Just being able to make good levels doesn't really mean much in terms of being able to put together a contest and organize potentially hundreds of people.
What I would personally pay attention to is - what people have managed in the past, how many judges they're thinking of having, and how feasible their idea is to implement.

Incredible how there's only one good one.
Ideas are useless if you can't make them real.
All my assets from packs and episodes are free to use for non-Novaverse levels and projects, as long as proper credit is given.

Honest thoughts on all the options:
Supershroom - Boring idea that's not creative at all, it would basically be another GEx or even a regular Community Contest.
PixelPest - Really interesting idea. It reminds me of MaGL X2, but instead of names it gives you designs.
MECHDRAGON777 - Cool gimmick, but there need to be enough themes to make it really work.
Dragon Fogel - The rules are pretty unclear here. For example, what would happen if two people picked the same level? I like the idea, though.
rpgfan4 - Could be interesting, but I don't really like it. It's basically the same as the contest DarkMatt had a while back.
sebby19 - So it's basically the same as my music contests :^) I can't say I'm against this idea, I'd even be willing to judge this one if it wins.
Sturg - Similar to PixelPest's idea, but I prefer that one over this...it feels more concrete.
So overall, here was my personal order:
0.
1. PixelPest
2. sebby19
3. Sturg
4. Dragon Fogel
5. MECHDRAGON777
6. rpgfan4
7. Supershroom

Sturg: Good idea, good rubric

That's because I'm expecting to hammer out the full details of the rules after the voting if I win. There was a considerable period of arguing (respectfully) about the rules and scoring in MAGL X2, which I took part in. Right now I'm considering a setup where you can either scour the list yourself for a name or ask me for a random set, and in the latter case you get one bonus point. But if I'm convinced in the arguing-about-things phase that there's a better way than that, I'll go with that instead.
In the specific case of two people picking the same name, what would happen is simply that both levels would be judged. There were same-named levels in both previous MAGL Xs, there's no reason to disallow it here.

Alright, makes sense.

It was hard to order them 1st to 6th because I thought that they were all pretty good proposals. But I finally finished deciding the orders, because I saw one that stuck out like a sore thumb to me.
omg zoom is absolute trash, why does my school still use it

mine but at this point I don't mind much anymore. The idea may be possible to execute somewhere else.
Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.

I still do not get your idea. I voted for you though since it felt the list restrictive.

Sturg's proposal is awesome! I hope it wins.
I'm tired of this back-slapping "Isn't humanity neat?" bullshit. We're a virus with shoes, okay? That's all we are.

I already did my vote. Let's just see what happens now. ( I like Sturg's proposal, it's great! )

Either Sturg or PixelPest for me.
(I mean, their ideas are quite similar)

If people still need to know:
This was aiming to have an event where everything is run as smoothly as possible.
Easy organization at the start because no signup phase and no need to produce lots of random element assignments like names or musics or w/e. The only harder part is the “checking phase” after the deadline and the “second chance” week, but it can be connected with starting to judge levels already.
Easy designing because people don’t run the risk of overplanning or producing annoyances when they don’t aim to make the most funky thing in the world and instead focus on actual quality.
Easier judging because the levels are expected to not be a tremendous hassle playing (no “if you can’t beat this in three hours then godmode” stuff).
Smoothly playable entrants forming a smoothly playable that would be likely to get a lot more audience than the previous two.
Just because X1 and X2 have been run completely differently and Talkhaus' design philosophy is quite the opposite, doesn't mean this idea would be completely unsuited for its stage.
Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.

...even though the stage is basically Talkhaus?
There's also just a bunch of gimmicks that were so much more interesting and I'm not sure anyone really cares too much either about how much work it is for you or to an extent for them. Limiting creativity isn't a great idea either
