Mario Forever n' Ever (First Ever Episode)

Mario Forever n' Ever is a "Fanmade Sequel" to a popular 2003 game called "Mario Forever".
The actual Episode presented here is only 1 world, this is for preview purposes. If people actually like it, I might make a full game... :)

Venture into the newest Mario adventure! After the events of Mario Forever, Bowsers back at it again to put Mario's platforming and adventuring skills!
Travel through 5 worlds +an extra 2 that might be hand-made from the community themselves!
...But watch out! In every world there's a bonus level, which is more of a challenge for hardcore players!
Beat Bowser in the 7 worlds that his castles are in... But watch out, some are more dangerous than the last!

A little word from me now, my names sannu42, and this is a recent episode that I made alone and in a span of a couple(-ish) of days. (First time I've actually MADE an episode, actually.)
I had an idea for this game when I got nostalgic over an old game called "Mario Forever", which is my favorite Mario game (and still is to date).

The game strictly uses the SMBX Engine (38a) made by 38A because It uses custom animated sprites and graphics. (http://wohlsoft.ru/docs/SMBX_38A/)

Some issues with the game still stand though,
1. There isn't a SMB:A-S graphic for Mario yet, because I plan to make it by hand. Emphasis on PLAN. I have ideas.
2. The World Map paths are currently too long. This shall be fixed in later releases if I do plan to make a full game.
3. It uses a version that needs to be strictly used.

All sprites/graphics belong to their respective creators. More info on who made the graphics are in the credits.txt file.

You should put all the screens into one spoiler. Also 1.4 (or the 38A engine) was made by 38A, not Wohlsoft or Wohlstand.

This project looks pretty nice. I like the idea of making a continuation of Mario Forever.

Some things that really bother me is that in the 2nd and 3rd screen, why does it look like there's random plants that look like they come from the ground, or.... they must be part of the background. (If they're part of the BG, I highly recommand you to make them pre-visible)
Also, some screens could have been improved, like the 4th screen with the "Para-Platforms".

Anyways... Good Luck for your continuation project !

I added the pirahna plants as more of a background decoration.
