The demo will take some more time...

After missing the second deadline in a row,here is the 4th demo for NSMWX:

As I said in your server, this is not a proper download. It's only 134 MB large.

You'll have to put it into your "worlds" folder.Also,it is just a 10 level demo.
Also I really like the encryption feauture because certain YouTubers get prevented from cheating by placing stars everywhere.

Ok I forgot about the encryption part but yeah, I disagree with it. It especially sucks that it prevents from editing levels - 38A doesn't allow for cheats so if there's a level-breaking bug or a level proves way too hard, it becomes impossible to progress.

And why only 10 levels? What about the prior demos? Am I supposed to put them together? Can't you just put your complete progress in Demo 4?

People will always find ways to cheat. There's no reason to try to risk the experience of other users because of it. They aren't going to do well if they post videos of cheating in the way you described and they'd still be promoting your material. Cheating is going to happen and you shouldn't need to try and compensate for it

Level-breaking bugs shouldn't appear since I've already got 3 Beta-Testers.And difficulty problems aren't that bad since the world map splits after 1-2 into 4 routs so you can litterally just take another one.Also encryption is important because it minimizes the file size.6 GB is really much and encryption should boil it down on around 1,5 GB which is 1,5 GB less.

As I said to Cedur.Also,I'm thinking about an assist mode.It would make more blocks contain helpful Power-Ups,but the player won't be able to collect Star Coins.Also,I just wanna make the final boss a BIG surprise and I don't want people to be able to litterally skip the whole episode just to play the final boss.

Well,as I already said,Neo Super Mario World X is built on surprises,and I don't want people to already know half of the game.

Ok, if this is your will, you should make demos private altogether, but once available, putting some chunks of levels together is more tedious but just gives the same results.

Hey guys,it's me.I'd have a HUGE announcement affecting the project's form.
I will publish the first 3 1/2 chapters before release.
They will be published like this:
Chapter 1:When Chapter 1 is finished
Chapter 2:When Chapter 3 is finished
Chapter 3:When Chapter 5 is finished
First half of Chapter 4:When the whole story is finished
Full episode:When the postgame and all these things are finished
NONE OF THEM WILL INCLUDE THE WORLD MAP!!!
I WILL LEAVE OUT SOME LEVELS SO YOU WON'T BE BORED WHEN PLAYING THE WHOLE EPISODE BECAUSE YOU ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING!!!

I'll try to get the Chapter 1 demo finished in mid-february.

what will it contain? a functional world map as well?

and do you already have progress outside of chapter 1?
