We all know there's a vast variety of fan games based off multiple franchises on the internet! So let's talk about those fan-made games (Not including "Super Mario Bros. X" nor any Hentai fan games!). Shall we? ^^

List of Fan Games I played & wanted to play sometime later:

• Some Mega Man X RPG from Newgrounds (It's been so long, I forgot the name)

• Metroid Genesis (I think it's that one fan game where you're in this space pyramid... might be wrong)

• Famicom Fighter (I'm hoping I'll get the chance to play this if i ever get MUGEN)

• Super Mario Flash 1 & 2(The one with that limited level editor from 2007)

• Super Mario Flash 2 (The one flash game where Mario kills toad in the end. )

• The Legend of Zelda: Can of Whoop Ass

• Some random Mortal Kombat fan game base off MK 3 (I actually forgot that name tbh)

• Raiden X

• Luigi Gunman

• Mortal Kombat Trilogy Extended (Just started. lol)

• Mega Man X on SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis (Haven't tried it out yet. )

Ultimate Somari Flash), Ultimate Sonic Flash, WindowsZone (a .NET Sonic fangame by MainMemory, a Sonic Retro forum member), AM2R, SRB2, Sonic Classic Heroes/Ring Ride series (if classic game hacks count), MM8BDM, Mario Forever Remake, Doom 64 EX (if it counts).

They were, but they don't count as "fan games", Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story are not fangames because they are officially published and licensed by Nintendo. Sonic Mania isn't a fangame, despite being made by a fan of the series, a fangame is something unofficial and not made by the official creators/company nor endorsed by them.

I used to play tons of Mario and Sonic flash games when I was a little kid. I can't even remember all of them, nevermind even knowing if they have communities...
Most important and famous of them were probably Super Mario Flash, Super Mario Bros. Crossover and Super Smash Flash 1&2.

• Raiden X (Yeah, a fan-made game based off the fun shoot 'em up games! ^^)

Impossible to play other fangames because Nintendo is so trigger-happy when it comes to slapping a cease and desist on any fangame. Even if it improves upon the source material. If people are going out of their way, spending valuable time and money, to fix the problems in your game, asking for nothing in return, the least you could do is leave them the fuck alone!
