UPDATE:

Thanks to Chile, Canada, US, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay for their support to Guaicó

Instagram just removed the "check" from Maduro's account and he broke every relation with the US. Things doesn't seem to be going well for him

We are losing a great YouTuber to some Indian corporation.

And Brexit continues to cause chaos in Parliament.

Update on twitter by Pompeo:

"U.S. will conduct diplomatic relations with #Venezuela through the government of interim President Guaido. U.S. does not recognize the #Maduro regime. U.S. does not consider former president Maduro to have the legal authority to break diplomatic relations."

Marco Rubio: Nicolas Maduro has a new enemy, tell him his name is Donald Trump

"It’s not clear what happens next. For now, Maduro has shown no signs that he intends to leave. But that may change, especially as Venezuela’s military leadership assesses both the political situation and their own futures. Roger Noriega, a former assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere Affairs now at the American Enterprise Institute, speaks regularly to former military officers. They say Maduro’s days are numbered. He has made a terrible enemy, they tell him. His name is Donald Trump."

I have no love for Maduro, the opposition, U.S. adventurism elsewhere in the world, nor any overlap of the latter two interests. That being said though Maduro is the democratically elected and thus legitimate leader of Venezuela and with the drone terrorist attack on him last year it's clear that, the usual suspects probably, will continue to undermine Venezuela until Maduro is ousted or there's just a coup.

As long as one man goes hungry nobody should eat until everyone is full.

Wish his concept of democratic elections weren't a bunch of lies, along with several fake votes in his favour
Just a 5% of the people likes Maduro, but the others, we, don't like him, it's the legitimate president but just because the CNE wants him to win by altering the votes

We don't care if he's legitimate or not, he's making the country and our lifes a misery, that's why people it's fighting at the street now, we don't want him any longer in the government, legitimate or not he doesn't have to be up there anymore

That's a dangerous game to play. Street fighting, terrorism, and general violence is not a democratic strategy and makes things much worse. You don't know what organizations or international interests could be directing the opposition and letting violent groups undermine election results is just a fundamentally bad idea. That's not to say Maduro shouldn't be challenged; his rule by decree is also very anti-democratic.

Well, I don't have power over that, people is already fighting out there. Unless Maduro gets a heart attack we'll have him in the government untill someone does anything, because it's not just go and arrest him, it's not just having "democratic" elections that are in his favour and where he'll win no matter what. I don't really want to give my opinion about the manifestations because I'm tired of thinking what negative thing could happen tomorrow, I just want to live in a decent country.

The election will also be the last one where I'll be unable to vote in so that's nice.
Really? In this country you should be at least 18 years old to vote

I don't live in Venezuela, but I feel for you, the world is beginning to decay in many ways, and I hate these corrupt politicians and terrible decisions that many of these governments make. However don't lose hope, there's a saying that goes "Everything works out for the best in the end. If it's not the best, it's not the end yet." Hang in there buddy, don't lose hope.

Well, I'll join. In my country... life isn't hard/bad, but a dollar is 42 argentinian pesos, our previous president left our actual one a whole big lot of garbage to clean, and there are a lot of debates and some things are happening in tha' CAPITAAAAALLLLLL. Luckily I live very, veeeeery far away from tha CAPITAAAAALLLLL.
Oh, and our actual president just raised everything and I think he isn't doing such a good job... And there's a lot of people being fired, and (this one's good) there was a little (I don't know how the f*ck to write this in english) futsal world championship in a province very close to mine.

Edit: Seems I forgot something: my country is NOT a very stable country. I'm talking 10 to 20 years in the future. Probably it's gonna break over and over again just like former imperial China.

Maybe for some political stuff? Maybe because of spies from other countries? There have been some pretty big scandals because of spies interfering or ex-spies dying randomly. Example: A british ex-spy was killed using a toxin and some said the toxin was from Russia and some others said it was from the USA. Stuff like that may be happening everyday and we weren't, aren't and won't be informed about it. It's secret stuff.
