Someone remembers SMF?

SMF is a Mario flash game with a level editor, along SMF2 both are Mario flash games that were popular years ago due to the editor, and probably many of us (the older ones) met SMBX thanks to SMF

SMF used to belong to pouetpu games, I used to play it everyday and I loved to make levels there, I don't know how much time I spent playing it and their versions where they change the sprites from the game...

Someone still remembers this game? at least one?

(Sad news for people who used to play the game, the last SMF level ever was posted in Pouetpu Games at 2015, it's obvious that the game is very very dead, fly high Super Mario Flash)

I remember it, it was one of the flash games that I also used a editor on. Mario Builder is what made me look for SMBX though.

Ah, Super Mario Flash. I remember discovering it on Andkon Arcade when I was 10 or so. This game was the thing that ignited my love for making Mario levels. It's been a long time since. I also remember going between lots of different forums, all dedicated to the game.

I remember when I liked to play other people levels and I liked to make levels that were part of a story, kinda sad I never got to post any of these levels, at least I discovered how level codes worked, doing things like put Bowser in the editor

I remember this being my 2nd editor after Mario Worker. There's always Super Mario Flash ver.E, Mario Forever Remake, and Mario Worker Remake, if you want.

Super Mario Flash.... I thought it was the best option to make Mario levels for a really long time. Nowadays, I don’t even think that there is any support for creating accounts. Pouetpu is dead, unfortunately.

But fear not! Inside this box is SMBX, a great tool that has the power to create full mario games! I’m assuming you already have it if you’re reading this post, but honestly, what do I care? Here, box, be free!!!

i remember the level codes,the layers(L1 & L2),The "secret" npc(luigi and bowser)

I never heard of Luigi code, but I knew Bowser's code was 383

He did disable registrations temporarily after I joined, but then reopened the site sometime after. I don't know in what state the community is in (although I highly doubt it is any better now) but the actual SMF community is now Level Palace, so join that if you want to see other SMF players.

SMF1: C+H+options=some sort of debug menu
SMF2: C+H+space=Top Secret Area
SMF3: same as SMF2, but SMB3-ified and a new vine that leads to SMB3 levels appears.

Level Palace started in 2016, so I don't know how levels could have possibly been posted in 2015.

Ahh... good ol' Super Mario Flash. I remember playing it a long time ago and enjoying the level editor quite a bit, although it definetly hasn't aged too well compared to games like SMBX. I should really try it again sometime.

Yep! 11 years ago to be exact, I feel so old... I used to release a series of (now-lost) levels under the name of The Knuckles96 Super Mario Bros. and for some reason started at world 8? My levels got into the best sections as well despite the fact they were absolute pants. I'm pretty sure I used to occasionally talk to Kley on those forums too but I can't quite remember.
