I sleep a lot and I still have permanent sleepiness
No matter how much i sleep, i always have permanent sleepiness, i guess i am always tired huh.
As I said, perhaps try changing what you do before bed or changing when you go to bed, it might help you feel more refreshed.
This won't fix IRL stress related problems which might cause this permanent sleepiness.

I always read in my bed before sleeping. Almost necessary if the day was troublesome.

Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshi's are tools to be used and discarded.

I go to bed at 11:00 pm during weekdays, and put a timer on the TV for one hour during weeknights so it won't keep me up all night. I wake up at 9:00 am and start doing online schoolwork at 10:00 because of some recent events that happened months ago. On the weekends, I don't do homeschooling, and I'm usually up until 2:00 in the morning playing video games lol

Oh I don't think you mentioned stress... In that case, all I can recommend is that you perhaps do some sort of relaxing art, like Yoga or something else.

I would try a warm bath/shower and turning the TV off an hour before you sleep

That would help. If you relax your brain an hour or two before bed, it should help quite a bit.

Getting enough sleep is hard as an adult, you gotta parent yourself.
I'm guilty of 3-6 hours a night.

People can adjust sleep patterns, and if this lack of sleep is consistent, the body can adjust and cope to the lack of sleep. I think.

Eh, you can start losing your mind if you don't get any sleep after a while or so.

But wouldn't the body adjust if someone didn't have much sleep though? Not zero sleep, but like 4 to 6 hours of it.

That is true. Set the alarm early and after a few days you'll automatically wake up at that time.

I'm trying to change my patterns. I have to get up early some days and then can sleep in the next few days. It's really hard finding a good pattern, and I don't want to have to get up early every single day that I'm off.

Because of school, I go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 6 am before the bus arrives at a quarter to 8 am.

Usually I am alone with my thoughts while in bed. It helps when I think of deep and existential things before I sleep. Maybe that's why my dreams are so weird.
