Cupthread (Cuphead Topic)
I personally like this game a lot because of its animation style (hand-made), its music and gameplay. It's difficult as many say, and I know. But I don't care too much and then I begin playing on my Switch.
What do you like of Cuphead? Share and discuss anything about this fantastic title.
Why I called it "Cupthread": show It's a name that comes from "Cuphead" and "thread"... nothing else.

I like how Cuphead reminds me of the 1930's Tom & Jerry, & Looney Tunes cartoons. Even though I Haven't played it on my Switch yet

You don't have it in the home menu? Remember it is a digital copy only, so it needs to be bought on the Eshop.

I know that, I said that "I haven't played it yet" because I was very busy with recording Switch games for my YouTube channels. But I'm gonna try it sometime later

I don't like when people think that Cuphead is the hardest game.
Moreover, there is like one person who said Cuphead is a bullet hell.

If people say Cuphead is hard, I ignore them since it's just an impression. Seriously, it's not hard, but neither way too easy.

Difficulty is subjective, why do you dismiss people who disagree with you?

There are people who love this game for its content and people who hate it for its difficulty. And I like this game for its content. Why not?

I haven't played it myself, but I've seen gameplay of it and it looks amazing.
One minor problem, unusual for a modern game, is that the frame rate should not be 60 FPS (or at least it shouldn't appear that way). That takes a bit away from the classic cartoon experience. The gameplay that I watched was for a 30 FPS video, and that felt more like a classic cartoon.
(The 60 FPS that I did see was from a demo outside a Microsoft store.)

Now listen to this one - it's really interesting.
Cuphead currently exists for 4 different platforms: Xbox One, Windows 10, Macintosh and Nintendo Switch (and on September 26 2019 what looks like a release for Tesla). For some reason it wasn't released for PS4 which is way more popular than Xbox (people still hate it nowadays and don't even hesitate to destroy Xbox 360es).
But on 2018, there was a Mexican guy who goes by the name Julio "MagnaDR" Cesar Rodríguez who, after getting a special permission from Nintendo and some tools, he started making Cuphead from scratch on the Wii U using Unity. It is the same exact tool used for the game itself.
Notice this was the first release of the game: at the time it didn't have any secret bosses, character select nor the many language translations introduced since the Switch port. Also the Wii U alpha did not have options, little-detailed animations/screen transitions, archives for savegame, and let's not even talk about the Inkwell Isle One map being incomplete and not accessing any of the available levels so far (Forest Follies, the Root Pack and Goopy le Grande). After the Switch version was released, this project was abandoned, and MagnaDR moved on making a completely new game called "Dimensional Traveler" which plays exactly like Cuphead but it's not about 30s stuff and such anymore. It's a totally different story.
Video about the first preview:

I hope someone continues this project one day, by applying the various localizations in languages and new stuff too. About the PS4, if I knew how to code I would simply extract the entire game archives from a Xbox One ISO and grouping them into a Playstation file. After that I edit some graphics to match with the Dualshock 4 controls, and install on USB and playing on a modded console. Only then Sony fans would be really happy of owning this fantastic game.

NOPE, Cuphead for PS4 has been officially released by Studio MDHR. Sony fans will enjoy it now!
