Yes, I am. When I see that game, I really want to play it, but when I'm playing it, I am really mad and I play other Mario game.

No, I made a mistake. I mean Super Mario Advance: Super Mario Bros. 2. I apologize, Mario Advance 2 is one of my favorite games and I like GBA, and I have got GBA and GBA SP.

Well, based on what I've played most recently...

World C-3 from the Lost Levels. That is a type of level I'm glad has never returned to Mario games.

Not Awesome in SMW.

Ice physics, precise jumps and lots of enemies. It's fairly obvious why it's so frustrating.

(OFC Tubular is worse but it's been said multiple times)

I agree. 8-3 isn't that bad as there are powerups hidden in the sets of Hammer Bros. on the bricks. 8-2 doesn't have such easy to find powerups, so you have to dodge tons of bullets, Paratroopas and a stupid Lakitu at the start. The only thing keeping me same was the 1-up block. But the 1-block wide pit at the end was what really frustrated me. Every time I got to the end, I fell in and had to go back to the start (often of 8-1, and it would have been 1-1 had I not known a secret code). Finally I got to the end, but the level still frustrated me after I kept dying to 8-4.

Oh, and did I mention SMB1 Bill Blasters are RNG-based? Yeah, not fun.

Hm, is it possible to get the Star coins without using a Fire Flower? I guess so, hence the best strategy would be not using a fire flower and not opening the powerup blocks until you need them

You can have the other enemies melt the ice blocks, so technically it is.

I forgot to add a few more levels in my long-ass list of my most hated Mario levels.... Great!

• Special World 7-Castle (from Super Mario 3D Land)

• Phases 11 and beyond (from the 1983 arcade game, Mario Bros.)

• World 4-3 (from Super Mario Bros. 2 USA)

• Basically any "Super Mario Maker 1 & 2" levels that look like IWBTG levels

Water levels. Even though aesthetics are fine I really dislike swimming in 2D Mario games.

Water levels are just the other kind of level Mario has, like Mario is all about platforming and running from place to place.
And Water levels slow you down and therefore take way longer than other levels.

The smb3 ones were okay with the FrogSuit since that powerup allowed faster movement.


Also Water Levels IMO need a different design approach to be still fun to play for the others.

All of the Fast Foes comets in Galaxy 1.
They're not any harder and change almost nothing. It also really only seems to affect Thwomps and Tox Boxes.
