I totally agree with that. Some levels in the game are driving you crazy and the game stops being fun after a while. This is the case with lots of other games that I play and most of the cheat codes available now have become really sophisticated in avoiding the developers, so you can keep using them.

I did cheat but mostly for fun. The best cheat codes that I ever used were for GTA Vice City and the GTA San Andreas. There even was a special program called Che Max that had hundreds of codes for multiple games.
But other than that, I have not used any cheats because they make the gaming process less interesting and kill the pleasure of playing. Sometimes I still used hacks to crack games from https://guidedhacking.com/forums/minecraft-hacks-cheats-mods-aimbot.492/, but that was made to save money and not cheat in the game.
So, cheating is nice only when it’s used for fun and not for pursuing something in the game.

To enter cheat codes, you just type them in during a level. For example, if you were to type in donthurtme, you would obtain god mode. Note that entering cheat codes will disable saving.

Even though it disables saving you can just type redigitiscool and you can save again even with cheat codes active

If getting to a certain point over & over in your level is that tedious & difficult, then wouldn't other players feel the same way? Maybe if its that difficult, you should tone down the difficulty? Also get all cheat guide at cheatcommands, if the level causes softlocking or is 'garbage', why not just stop playing the level & get a hold of the lever designer & give them feedback on how flawed their level is. Not only all that, but having to replay your level over & over again is how you keep your skills sharp.
I make difficult levels myself & I never use cheat codes. I play my levels just as any other fair player would. If my level is so difficult that even I can't beat it reliably, despite playing it the way its designed, then its high time I toned it down.
You sound mad because people told you reason why cheats can be useful.
Of course as a creator yourself you should beat the level you made without cheats duh, but imagine in a contest that a judge cannot score a level because he couldn’t complete it since it’s way too difficult. That’s where the cheats come in.
You can also give the Level Designer Feedback if you had to cheat because the level softlockef you or something, doesn’t mean you gotta stop playing it.
Also this is a Singleplayer Game mostly atm and some people want to have fun.
You can if you use the cheat redigitiscool

But did you know that cheat codes don't always work the way you expect them to? According to the article "5 Myths About Gaming Cheats," many cheat codes have been disabled by developers or have been patched out of modern versions of the games. You can check it out here. This means that the cheat codes you know and love may not work the way you expect them to. But that doesn't mean cheat codes are useless. In fact, they can still be helpful if you know how they work. Many cheat codes are intended to be used in a specific way, like the "wariotime" cheat code I mentioned earlier. You can still use it to make all the enemy's coins, but you have to know how to do it correctly.
