Post counter is frozen

Currently, my profile post counter says 424 posts. Clicking on it, however, will show 452 posts (including this one). Kinda surprised the post counter hasn't updated for me in ages, which is strange. Is there a fix?

EDIT: Somehow the post counter went up by 1 when I made this topic. It seems that new topics are counted but not replies to topics. Yikes.

This can't really happen.

You're a veteran user, how often did you post in the ancient Introductions forum? It had disabled postcount.

I have no idea, and I'm not sure if that's related to the bug either.

I mean, your postcount is still going up when you make a post, so I don't see any problem.

You posted in an old forum that had no postcount, which explains why searching your posts shows more posts than your actual postcount.

That's odd... Anyways, it looks like the postcounter is no longer frozen anymore, so everything's all fine!

My post count says 1900 including this one, but when I click "search user's posts" it shows less posts instead... exactly 1888 posts. That's weird, why is this happening?

The post counter was never frozen. The Introductions forum had it switched on after a certain point, and I believe the level contest announcement threads also may have had post count disabled. Search for your posts in those archived forums and you should see a total equal to (or close if you posted in other disabled forums/after the setting was disabled).

There were a few times when a thread was not fully deleted but moved by staff into an invisible area. (E.g. for the Politics thread I think this was the case). I even have a greater gap for this reason. If you were staff, you would not notice the gap.
