How do I change my Mario character to Luigi?

I'm playing SMBX2, I only play 1 default character which is Mario, I think everyone can change the character to Luigi or Peach,... IHow to modify the character while playing?

Go to the pause menu on the world map and then press left or right.
Some characters may cause trouble in some levels, though.

do keep in mind that some episodes won't let you change characters, so if the method above doesn't work you might not be able to switch at all.

You just use character blocks or press left/right on the pause menu in world map. Duh.

If you absolutely must play as an unsupported character during a level or campaign, there's always cheat codes. Enter itsameluigi on your keyboard while in a level, then enter redigitiscool to re-enable saving. Note that this can break certain levels.
