The contest slots so well for me, since I've finished the Western Demo on 4th July and the UU gamejam ends just 2 days after it starts.

I think this one's gonna get an everyone ping in the SMBX Discord server if that's what pings mean.

As written in the first post of this thread, people can leave a reply here to express their interest and get notified when the contest starts. This was done in the past 4-5 contests as well, and usually takes the form of an empty quote block attributed to the user who signed up, like so:
This will bump up the user's "notifications" counter on the forums with a link to the contest rules thread.
