A new summer means a new Chocolate Contest for the SMBX forums.
This free-for-all contest means anything that follows the contest's rules and is possible to beat in SMBX2 Patch 4 is perfectly capable for participating in this very contest.

The contest will start on the 8th of July and will end on the 22nd of August, following the good old Friday-to-Monday format.

The judge roster will be made up of 6 people, because well, what would a contest be without reviews?! Not interesting nor fun, I'm willing to bet that much.

Of note:

• Teams of 2 people will be allowed in addition to solo submissions
• You may only submit one level when the contest starts
• You can sign up to be pinged via showing your interest in this thread
• The contest discussion and submission thread will each be posted on Talkhaus as well
• The rubric will not be identical to last year's
• This contest's schedule is completely independent from the Vanilla Contest and vice versa

Note after seeing some confusion on Discord: this contest's schedule is completely independent from the Vanilla Contest and vice versa.
The judge roster also has no overlap between the two events, but Valentine will be redistributing the levels to us after the submission period.
