Try using the Pokémon Switch invincibility, it makes it a HELL of a lot easier.

Gosh, that boss USED TO BE hard, but when I learned that dodging was actually effective (yes, that's right, I was a noob so much that I thought the group mode required multiple controllers and that subspace was the only playable mode) and I LEARNED THE GOOD DODGING TIMES AFTER A FEW FAILS and now if I wanted to, I could go through and do a no-damage run. (If the disc still worked :/ )
Meh, the major ragequit for me, though, was of Dragonball Xenoverse and its unbeatable missions...threw it almost 30 feet and nearly broke (and almost literally lost) my PS4 controller and haven't played it since. Never had a ragequit since before or after on even a third of that scale, but the stupid thing is that even though I had no chance, I kept doing it over and over. I was a dummy thinking I could...

I think that the most rage I've felt playing a video game was playing the NES Mega Man games, which ones?
All of them, 1-6.
Even though I beat every single one of them, it took me hours, upon hours, upon hours of rage, throwing the controller, punching the floor, anger, frustration, wrath, hitting the console, yelling and screaming because of how incredibly difficult those freaking games are! Especially the last levels, geez, they're unforgiving!
Rivaled by playing Resident Evil 2 and getting to the final boss, with Mr. X and having to dodge every one of his attacks while waiting for Ada's ass to bring me the rocket launcher, I lost so many times, and every time I made it farther, I always thought "WHY IS ADA TAKING SO GODDAMN LONG?!!"
Also, battling the gym leaders in Pokémon Yellow.
Having Pikachu as a starter Pokémon made it quite difficult with Brock since his attacks had no effect against his Rock Pokémon.
And even after beating him, all other gym leaders were pretty difficult even with more Pokémon available.
Made me throw my Game Boy various times.

My rage quit moments in gaming are:

• Sonic Mania: I got to the Oil Ocean Zone act 2 boss*, but kept getting hit and nearly all my rings flied off the screen, and kept dying to this bitch of a boss!

• De Blob: Got to the last area of the game (I think), and kept dying on the airship bs!

I've had too many raging moments, due to the fact that those games were hard and I am a complete noob.

In SSB4 it seems that CP fighters get stronger and unbeatable day by day and I get eventually more anger day by day. (what a coincidence... )
In SMBX itself I got into hard levels and bosses and everytime I knew I was gonna die I performed a trick to not lose lives - pausing the game and hitting quit so that I could return with no problems to the title screen. Last time was in Bowser's Inferno Fortress in Apocalypse of Foroze which I have beaten from a while. Now I need to complete Foroze's Palace and the special world... uff. And sometimes it even crashed due to "subscription out of range".

EDIT: I've beat the final boss by playing in co-op with a friend. Special world already started, too!
