Is SMBX 38a or 2.0 still being worked on?

I haven't played either game in a very long time, so I was wondering if either is in active development.

smbx2 is still in active development, and a new very big update is currently being worked on. smbx-38a hasn't been updated in quite some time to my knowledge.

Updates for the two can take quite some time. Thankfully nowadays the limits are now near ENDLESS thanks to 2.0’s LUA and 38a’s teascript. Some waiting times should be easier now.

I was asking because I tried to find any updates on these games for both. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place. I did find a spreadsheet though but I couldn't find anything that relates to updates past 1.4.5 for 38a.

For an unknown number of years so far I have been patiently and happily waiting for the update of SMBX 2 that will end the beta phase of this version.

About SMBX-38A, the last public patch (31.1 that fixes only one bug) got been released almost two years ago, and after that the 5438A38A, the developer of SMBX-38A, no longer appears in the public, even his best friend doesn't know where is he. Most noted reason is his busyness on his main job at Tencent.
